I paid $0.54 for this game and I don't know if it was worth it. I often buy kid games because I have a child and figure they will play these at some point. I also find them relaxing and a nice little break compared to the high paced competitive games I often play. This is an interesting Math game that I found very confusing. The math is right, but confusing at times, especially how sometimes they do this diagonal arrow thing. It took me a moment to realize they only wanted the answer for one arrow at a time. It at first seemed complex and confusing when trying to understand what they actually meant/wanted as it lacks direction. I finished this in an hour and a half and probably could have done it sooner, As of now I could still request a refund with this being under 2 hours played, but I'm not that annoyed with it to do so. I just think if I had a child attempting to do this I'd have to really sit down and explain a lot of the problems as it was not intuitive to me. I don't think this ...

About This Game
A Percent of a Pirate is an educative game played by hundreds of students during the class from the 7th grade. It was realized in collaboration with mathematics professors in order to respect the standard 7.RP.A.3 about percentages and ratios.
By playing a pirate, you will have to repeal the goblins which will try to get back the treasure you stolen. You will have to build defenses to survive, and escape from this isle before you get caught.
During this adventure, you will have to learn how to manage your defenses. For that, you will have different ways to learn how to calculate the required number of ammos, or the amount of your discounts to decrease the price of your purchases.
One of the most useful math lessons for your daily life. Either make a recipe, or just to do your shopping.
This game, about thirty minutes long, goes right to the point by explaining the concepts through explicit examples. This condensed format will keep the player involved in his reflection.
Do you think that educative video games may help the teachers to introduce their courses?
