World Seed Classic

I choose fight to the "death option" when I first started playing, died a few times until I found a build that suited me. I felt like a GOD. I proceed to survive for 12 hours just to die to a super rare enemy I never encountered before. I re-equipped myself with high-tier gear then travelled to the "Spire" to fight my lost soul to get back my stuff I lost. You only get one shot at it. My own soul defeated me and took my gear to the afterlife. Now my soul is held hostage yet again. I'm gonna save myself, this time more prepared. Actually an amazing game. 10/10 would try to fight myself again.. and the "TROLL" creature who started all this. This game has quite a lot to offer and I enjoy it, and more to come. The community is friendly and the sole developer "Kortes" is willing to help in chat in-game or discord. Also the full game is free on browser (chrome only). Search for "world seed eu" on google. I bought the game to support future development. Now back to gear up.

First, important to note the game is available for free via web browser. It's a decent time waster if you just want a game to collect items and not think too much. I've found it to be pretty relaxing. The main goal is to collect resources, upgrade equipment (combining lower tiers to get higher tiers) to make your character more powerful. The grid world resets once per hour, and people call out rare items (the grid is the same for everyone so you don't need to compete for rare drops). You can set your threshold on when you resign in combat to increase/decrease the risk of dying. There are also dungeons where you team up with up to four other players to battle some monsters and eventually a boss. Some things I found annoying is you can't change your race without switching accounts and you're given no warning about this whatsoever. The game is also quite buggy and I often need to restart. Very relaxing and chill game. At the time of writing this review the developer is active in game and on the discord community page, responds well to suggestions and also to hate and trolls. 50 % purchased the game because its fun to play, 50% purchased it because the dev is awesome. it can also be tried for free first in a chrome web-browser. Big yes.

Great community, the game may seem simple on its surface but has a good amount of complexity to it. Definitely worth the cheap price tag.

Before reading this, do understand that its being developed by 1 single person and that this game is available for free outside steam, buying it here is simply supporting the dev and unlocking access to it through steam. The game is a very charming timesink, it looks rather simpistic/minimalistic yet offers a good amount of depth and complexity. The developer is extremely active as of writing this review, you can easily get a hold of him directly to ask for help or give suggestions in discord and he'll give you time to actually listen and respond. The community is still in its baby steps but has been very warm and welcoming. All information and most people can be reached either in discord or in game. A very lite MMO, think of it as a boardgame. Combat doesn't take long at all which is a plus in my books. You can choose how low you want your HP to get before you resign, which allows you to take on higher tier enemies as sometimes you get lucky with critical hits. I would describe it as a casual game which is good for when you just want to chill. There are other players in the game but you do not see them as such, you only see their avatar when they have claimed a tile to generate resource once every ten minutes and when you visit a city and it is possible to duel with them, which i haven't done yet. What i like is if you lose in combat you don't die or lose HP. But there is an exception of course if you say have your auto-resign set to 30% but a powerful creature might deal high damage and damage exceeds that 30% bringing it down to 0 which you do die. I have no idea what drug the other reviewers have taken but I guess it's pretty good to upvote this. I can't say it's good or bad it's just nothing. One of the hardest passes I can give
