A fun little game to play solo or with a friend! PROS: - General game feel. - Aesthetic / Style. - Well balanced difficulty. - 2 players co-op. CONS: - Some little bugs here and there but nothing that break the game. - Is short. For the developer: Maybe an endless gamemode or a "Nightmare difficulty" mode will be good for some replayability.

About This Game
Fight your way from the streets to the skyscrapers in this Old-School Action Game!
When a vicious gang tries to burn down their favorite video shop, Sidney Flintlock and Justine Jacobs take to the streets to bust some heads. Breakneck City is an Old-School 3D Beat 'Em Up with a focus on environmental interactions. Featuring low-poly graphics and pixel-art textures, and the ability to play in 2-player co-op mode, Breakneck City brings late-90s style 3D Beat 'Em Up action to a new generation.
Punch, Kick and dodge across 6 levels including city streets, a dance club, a skyscraper and more! Take on gangs of enemies and tough bosses. Pick up weapons to become even more effective in combat, and use the environment to your advantage. Swing on lamp posts, kick your foes into garbage bins and out of windows, and deal devastating dive-kicks from above. You'll have to use your surroundings to your advantage against these challenging foes.

One of the reasons I love Steam is I keep finding games I didn't know I need. I feel that developers loved the Dynamite Deka series and wanted to create a similar game but in a Double Dragon mold. The gameplay handles well with a controller and the boss fights have real character. One sword wielding foe tosses one of his blades in air to free up his hand and spit a fireball across the screen. Small touches like this indicate a love for the genre.
ENG: Old school beat em up, fun, with crunchy graphics and animations, it's a bit short, I passed it in just over an hour in cooperative with a friend in remote play. ESP: Beat em up de la vieja escuela, divertido, con gráficos y animaciones crocantes, es un poco corto, lo pase en poco mas de una hora en cooperativo con un amigo en remote play. En Argentina quedó caro por el precio actualizado.
It rocks. Easily the best Renegade Sector game yet, with chunky animations and gameplay. Big fan of this one.
Breakneck City is a lot of fun. The last couple levels get tough, but I liked the challenge to fully understand its simple systems. The plot and dialogue are perfectly over the top, appropriate for this kind of classically badass adventure where fists solve every problem and evil goes all the way to the top. The visual style is delightful, several moments per level were creative and impressive, and the whole thing was just funny and bonkers. I'm loving Tales of the Renegade Sector.
A fun beat em up arcade style game. The checkpoints are very generous making it a enjoyable game rather than frustrating. The bosses are unique and fun, Each one has a secret achievement link'd to it. I like this extra touch of making the game more re playable for stuff you didnt see on your first go around. It was a little buggy but i personaly enjoy that with these games. If you can escape the first level and jump out of bounds, it restarts you at about the mid point of the level, this is a fun time skip if you do it before then. Overall id recommend the game to anyone who thinks the trailer looks appealing.
Fun coop beat em up! I really enjoy the visuals of this game.
the soundtrack alone is worth the purchase
Good gameplay and that Renegade Sector style
fun, chunky, idiosyncratic.
