Fun, simple roguelite space shooter that's continuously being updated. At a dollar, it's definitely worth the price.

I really like the look of this game, could do with some BGM. Not crazy about the control system but that may be down to personal preference. All in all worth it for less than a dollar :)

Found this on the r/Pan stream. i bought it, and its fun! only thing tho, its that for some reason my PC turns into a Vacuum even when it can run Payday 2 at 60fps on max settings... Great game otherwise, very enjoyable!

Cosmos - Escape From Freedom is an amusing but incredibly imbalanced roguelite shmup, where on almost every Rift type (difficulty mode, basically) you quickly ramp up to having unstoppable godlike power, almost nothing challenges you, and you kill all bosses in less than five seconds. This would normally be an easy thumbs-down, but this is a hobby project of the developer and he has been continuously updating it since its release in 2019, so while my comment is true for the versions I played (2.2.7 through 2.2.8.1), who knows how it'll be in another year or two? Ultimately, though, the fundamental balance really just isn't there in Cosmos. The only Rift type I found all that entertaining was the new, super-difficult one added in 2.2.8, Vivid Nightmare, and that one is somewhat frustrating to play due to the constant lightning strikes, even when you're trying to pick your ship upgrades. I'll check back on where this game is in another year, I think, but I'm going to have to give this a...

Is it a pog gamer game? Yes, this game was made by the most poggy pogger on the interweb. Does the swag drip? The swag does drip to a surreal degree, i have had to replace many a bucket of swag. Does this game attract the ladies? I can certainly validate that this swaggy pog gamer game does not attract the women but instead forms a protective barrier stopping the "hoes" from endangering your swaggy pog pog time. All in all i would recommend this game to any of my gangsters and all my ladies.

I don't really get it. But also sound didn't seem to work... I know I had the right sound device on, because I heard a noise when I revived... but otherwise it was silent. The game seems a little easy, which is strange for a rogue-lite. Typically you don't get very far in your first run.. but I got bored first. In response to the Dev. I played quite a few levels, blew through roughly 20 bosses. I never died until I was just done playing and I went outside the safe zone. I also didn't really understand the reward system for choosing the more difficult fights. More credits, but I'm not sure exactly what they did in correlation to the bar that fills, I guess your level to unlock another perk? I can't remember honestly. As for the sound, the only noise that was made was when I died, and it was pretty loud. I think it's important to get the feel for the game before you go all in, and I understand the regular game formula of getting more difficult as you go, but on both runs I quickly g...

Bought this game on sale and it is still receiving updates. Very unique for a single person team to be attentive to changes. The art style and gameplay is very cute, with a variety of ships, pilots and difficulty modes to challenge yourself with. Personally not my kind of genre, but i see it as enjoyable for someone into this style of game, and would recommend trying during a sale.
