I actually prefer this game over Enter the Gungeon, just because I was never able to finish Enter the Gungeon, because I was so bad, that I never even really got that far into the game. There is just too much stuff going on and I'd end up getting hit in some way or another without realizing it, even with lots of runs being done. In this one, the problem still exists. I am still bad and overwhelmed by all the stuff going on, however as it is kept simpler, I was able to get further more quickly and actually feel like I'm playing the game this time. So I am very well aware that this is a personal problem of not being good enough for the old game, but I also feel like I am used to playing pretty hard games usually... just not the same kind of hard. I am better at hard platforming stuff or Soulslikes etc. Bullethell games have just too much going on, I just can't get used to it. Anyway, as the game is simpler, I can actually learn it better and was actually able to beat it the 5 times for...

About This Game
The Gungeon has become a paradox and is collapsing! Blessed by the magic of the Sorceress, your gun will change rapidly as you ascend the Gungeon. The better you play, and the higher your combo, the more powerful the form your gun will take.
Battle against the last and most bitter of the Gundead at a frantic pace, slowing down just long enough to chat with some familiar faces… and a few new ones. Shifting rooms, enemies, bosses, bizarre weapons and items all combine to ensure that no two attempts to Exit the Gungeon are the same.

The Gungeon- When I Entered-10/10 When I tried to leave-4/10
It's not that bad, but not nearly as good as the original.
I dont think this game deserves the negative reviews it gets. Most negative reviews seem to be because this game isn't as good as Enter the Gungeon. Is that true? Yes, its not as good as Enter the Gungeon... however, Im having a lot of fun with it. Its a pretty fun Gungeon-y experience. I haven't played a lot of it yet, but I see the gameplay loop and its similar to Enter the Gungeon. I think its well worth the $10 price for what it is. Its just a side scrolling Gungeon bullet hell and that's not a bad thing at all. Definitely doesnt deserve any hate for doing its own thing. It is by no means a bad game at all, its just not Enter the Gungeon.
who even knew this game even exist?????
