I love what this game is trying to be. But it has given me the worse motion sickness I've experienced in YEARS, maybe decades. Maybe ever. I have had issues with first person before, and generally avoid them, but I thought since it wasn't a shooter and there were no hands bobbing around in front of the character it might be okay. It was the worse motion sickness a game has ever caused me. If you have no issues with motion sickness, and you like puzzle games with very unique mechanics, go for it. If you have any issues at all with motion sickness, AVOID THIS GAME!

About This Game
Explore a mysterious all-white landscape by splatting paint to reveal the world around you in The Unfinished Swan. As Monroe, a 10-year-old orphan, you'll follow a swan that's stepped out of an unfinished painting and wandered off into a surreal, storybook-inspired kingdom. Each chapter brings surprises, new ways to explore the world, a host of bizarre (and sometimes dangerous) creatures, and encounters with the eccentric king who built this empire.

This game is OK; it plays a bit slow. What remains of edith fintch is much better
I thought I don't have motion sickness issues in general, this game proved me wrong
I've never played a game more worthy of mixed reviews. This game is wonderfully innovative and abstract in its worldbuilding and mechanics, but those same things can also be frustrating while you're trying to progress. Pick up the game on sale if you want it.
Such a beautiful game, not just visually but in its story telling and simplicity. The Unfinished Swan takes the player on a journey back to one's childhood filled with fantastical fables and folktales. And like all good childhood tales, it appears nonsensical at first but is wrapped in layers of meaning with a thought-provoking conclusion that will stay with you. The game is not for everyone but if you have an appreciation for innovative game design and unique narratives, then this game is for you. As a final word, I have to say that discovering who the King was of this forgotten land was one of the most surprising, pleasing, and appropriate tributes ever.
A game where you can feel like an artist. It has a simple story that blends very well with the gameplay. good soundtrack. also note this game actually came out in 2012, before What Remains of Edith Finch.
If ever you happen to find an unfinished swan go missing, I definitely highly recommend going on a wild goose chase to finish it. :)
Very cute puzzler. The controls are simplified (there is just walk, jump, and interact), but still manages to stay engaging. Visually very cute, just maybe a bit short. The beginning chapter is still probably my favorite.
This game needs a 'Meh' vote. It's fine, it's ok, it's meh. - For the price it's really short, get it at a discount. Finished in about an hour and a half, idling the last card drop. Sure, you can probably spend another hour if you want all achievements. Not worth 14€. - It's a walking simulator. There's no real puzzles. Sometimes you stop and look around where to go next but that's about it. - There's no button remapping so if you use anything other as qwerty, you need to change your Windows keyboard settings or you'll be stuck with weird key layouts. - I just expected more. Againt, it's not I just feel a little unsatisfied with it. I'll give it an upvote because 'It's not bad' but I wouldn't 100% recommend.
