Assemble with Care

A sweet little storybook accentuated with very pretty repair puzzle sequences! As Maria repairs sentimental items in Bellariva, she helps to repair relationships within the town as well. Another reviewer commented that they felt the story was designed solely for the young -- I disagree. I think it's a chill and cute experience for all ages -- an adult will probably see the little morals of the storylines coming, but it's always good to be reminded of those lessons -- with the busy lives and worries of adults, they're quite easy to forget after all. Younger children may struggle a little with the repair sequences and need adult help; I think this game would be ideal for a parent and child or an older relative and younger relative to play together. I will say that the repair sequences can be a little finicky: you have to pay attention to your mouse to ensure you're performing the right action when you click, but occasionally it's a struggle to get the game to register the action that y...

Although it was a really short game, it was worth for $2 when on sale. The story was really heartwarming, music and sound effects were really relaxing! Some mechanics, like the rotating mechanic was a little irritating but I got used to it as I played. Definitely would recommend getting it on sale. (๑>◡<๑)

A short-but-sweet little puzzle game.

Assemble with Care is... fine. it's visually appealing and has a light nice story. But I really was expecting more the game play wasn't that great and the story was pretty forgettable to be honest. If you are looking for something low effort to do for an hour and a half go for it but unfortunately I can't recommend it as a game.

This game really got to me. I’d had it in my library for a while but never got into it until now. It’s a cozy little game where you fix broken things, but somehow it ends up fixing your heart too. The sister bond and the father/daughter moments hit so close to home for me, ngl. It’s tender, emotional, and quietly beautiful. There were moments I just sat there like “I’m not crying… you’re crying.” TT I loved every single moment of this game.

This game is perfect for a cozy gamer. The chill atmosphere or fixing things and putting it back together is relaxing and enjoyable. I played through this whole game in one night, the story grabbing my attention from the start. Just relaxing and playing this game makes it a perfect rainy day game.
