EDIT 12/16/2019: THEY LISTENED!!! The devs took notice of what we were saying in regards to some item sprites. While some sprites you can still tell were inspired from games like Pokemon, they've been redrawn. Unfortunately, it doesn't change my overall stance on the game. It pleases me to know that a dev listened to its biggest complaint. I hope that the dev continues to make improvements and change any other sprites that may have been taken from other properties. I still don't recommend this game, but if perhaps we do get a settings menu, tutorial, and something that tells us what each item does, I will consider changing my stance. UPDATE: Dec 16th, 2019 So the developer went in as if nothing he did was wrong in response to the negative reviews such as mine and the comment thread. I give him credit for at least listening and not just deleting the thread about the theft of game art. So he replaced the stolen art with new art. Even still, this game is too generic, and just feels way too basic, even for the low price of $1.99. Honestly I love this game. Most people are blasting it for stolen are and what not but its cheap and the devs listen to the community. This game has amazing speed running potential with all of the glitches in it. I find myself coming back for more and I really enjoy the time playing this game. Some of the bugs can get annoying at times but seeing how the devs are actually working on making the game better I would say that they will not be around for long. I do feel like the game needs a tutorial or something to help you understand what you are doing but some people like having to figure that out. With 21 hours in this game I cant recommend this game enough and I feel like this game can really go somewhere in the future. Final score: 8/10

This game is a zero. I played it and thought it was fun at first. I thought there might be a trick to the "cooking", but after extensive testing it seems to be random. I thought maybe you could infinitely clear the dungeon and get stronger... But no. Maybe encounter cool and interesting enemies... Also no... Also they STOLE PIXEL ART FROM OTHER GAMES!!! Namely POKEMON. Which is wrong... for a little more info read on. If you beat the main "BOSS" but don't save the princess eventually the game will lock you in an inescapable room. If you beat the "BOSS" and do save the princess that instantly ends the game. With no effect on later runs. Tons of bugs! Including: -Player invulnerability -Items occasionally healing/ not healing Just play something else...

Might be worth it for the cheap price, but overall not a game worth owning. [u]1. It's random.[/u] It's focused around a completely random mechanic where any two items or foods can be combined to create a completely random item that has nothing to do with what you put in to cook it. [b]Whenever you cook something, you're rolling the dice[/b]. I thought it might be based on tier, but I combined a rainbow sword with a rainbow carrot and got a mushroom. That was when I realized it was 100% random 2. It's buggy. Barely walking into a room can spawn an enemy on top of you forcing you to instantly take damage. After you kill an enemy, they can still shoot you until they are completely gone even though they have stopped moving. For melee enemies, they can still damage you if you touch them. You will sometimes be completely invulnerable to all damage, only to lose that for no reason five minutes later. You can keep shooting after you die. Some enemies can hit you through walls. It goes on. W...

Games ok for 1.40 (30% off) but wont be up here long, so if you want to get it I would quick? Alot of stolen assets.

THIS GAME IS!... well its something, i would say you won't regret buying this game unless there is something more important you would want to do with your $2... maybe ride the bus? I don't know, I'm not your dad. So if you are looking for a good time grab your biggest bag of toenail clippings and prepare for fun! because this game probably has both of those things. P.S. my review makes about as much sense as this game.
