Hope there is a "Neutral" Review Button.. Story 10/10 OST 10/10 Visual 10000/10 Gameplay 5/10 I found this game has a beautiful story and concept. I love the Pixel Art and the OST. But It's hard for me to really enjoy the gameplay, sometime I wish this is a movie instead of a game..Many things of the gameplay I enjoyed such as the puzzle, interaction, and exploration..but chapter 3-5 feels really slow...dragging...it's like your going to the final dungeon of JRPG game...it's slow, dragging, forced going to the same places back to back but without actually grinding, levelling, finding rare equipment...But that can be just me because it seems majority seems really pleased with the gameplay

The game has an interesting story but the quests are very repetitive what makes the game kinda boring. Another thing that annoying me in the game was the fact the feature to save the game is not precisely because if you see a scene and save after that you will have to see the scene again and doesnt have the option to skip. I don't think the story of the game compensate the bad things.
Legitimately recommend just for the story alone. The setting works incredibly well in terms of blending aspects of Indonesian culture with a setting that is still familiar to foreigners. The town is bustling with life and each side character has a story of their own. Gameplay is a bit of a mixed bag. Exploring the town and interacting with people is fun, and does well to built the plot, but almost all of the objectives are fetch quests which get tedious very quickly. Overall, this is a narrative driven game first and foremost, and it excels at it even if the gameplay suffers a bit as a result. It's the kind of game you think about days and weeks on end after you finish it, wishing that you could play it for the first time once again.
Very compelling story! Heart-wrenching but beautiful. It brings up a theme like friendship and chasing your dreams. For me, it’s quite nostalgic too; the story takes place in a high school in Indonesia. But this game also sheds a light on darker, serious topics like
bullying, broken home, domestic violence, and loneliness
. Something you might see in a movie, but it’s good to see it being put in a video game, which allows the story to be more immersive. Love the artworks and soundtrack too. One thing I don’t like about this game is that you can’t save your progress anywhere you want in the game. You have to spend like >1 hour completing the story until you can find the next save point. Overall, a great game!
I bought this game as part of the end of memories bundle to fill the void in my heart that Until Then left (in a good way) Contrary to what some reviews are saying, I never viewed the puzzles as tedious, actually thought they were fun. However, there were times when the fetch quests got kind of boring. Aside from that, the game had a great story that hits close to home for some and a nice soundtrack, not to mention beautiful visuals. This review makes it sound like the game's mid, but it was really an outstanding experience despite relatively short length (took me about 12 hrs to beat the main story and I'm writing this as the credits roll). Might not be everyone's cup of tea but I'd recommend this game to those who enjoy story rich, side-scrollers. There's also a free demo I recommend trying before purchasing for those more skeptical. TLDR: Go for it, the game's short but nice
Realita begitu menyakitkan bukan ?? Dia hanya ingin bahagia bersamamu apapun yang terjadi, bahkan jika itu hanya di dunia yang fana
10/10 this game even though the graphics are pixel but this game brings me like to the real world because I am Indonesian so I feel related to this game which has an Indonesian nuance, the story delivery is also good, interaction with npc and also being able to pet cats or other animals is very good in my opinion for a pixel game. even though it is a visual novel but this game makes it seem like this is an adventure game with features to explore and search for items to fulfill the book of desires, the battle mechanics in this game are also quite unique must make me press the button quickly. for the control of this game is quite simple only using the arrow but what I regret is why there must be a z control maybe it is a bit far from the arrow, but for control using a gamepad / joystick in my opinion it is good. and a little suggestion for developers maybe have a feature where we can repeat in certain chapters so we can get items / interactions that are left behind
story 9/10 i love the premise, and the pacing of the story, and i love raya visuals 9/10 EVERYWHERE IS WALLPAPERWORTHY.. PEAK gameplay 6/10 the battles are a bit too bland for some reason? music 6/10 it's just there good job to my country for making this, insaneeeee step in the right direction. KEEP ON COOKING!

Extremely competent and well written story. It's evocative, smart and powerful stuff. No character feels wasted and the payoff at the end makes what some might call slower game-play totally worth it. The story is entirely unique in its presentation and there are some fun mechanics to play with here that layer the story uniquely and it's all to serve the plot; It doesn't feel like a gimmick. I would recommend players to go into this game as blind you can manage. I'm not sure how but you really see and feel the nostalgia the developer set out to portray and communicate about his upbringing in 90's Indonesia... I can't explain it being a Floridian and knowing absolutely nothing about Indonesia but there is just something so oddly familiar and cozy about this town... This review sucks; Just play the game. It's well worth it all full price IMO.
