I would recommend this game only to people who are heavily invested in the series. This is by far the worst one so far. The cast is too big, Falcom can't really commit to any of the story beats from previous games and everyone ends up being turned to friendly and in your team by the end of it. You could probably take this premise and make a children's show with it. God forbid a single character stays dead, because that would hurt some basement dweller's feelings...

This game is so addictive, once you play one of it you gonna play another one. And because of that, I have wasted more than 7 month in this year to completed this series. Gonna stop playing this series or wasted more month in this year.

I went through 1-3 without crashing a single time. In this game, I'm only a few hours in and have already crashed maybe a dozen times.

Much better than Cold Steel II/III and a pretty decent ending to the saga despite some annoying plot cope and typical JRPG predictability/cheese. Solid character moments, the cast was surprisingly well balanced in terms of the attention everyone got despite being massive. Yes the cast being big does hurt them somewhat but given what they had to work with I think they gave both old and new Class VII plenty of attention throughout the game. New Class VII in particular completely eclipses the old in terms of depth and quality overall.
