First 50% --> 10/10 ( good Horrorelements / cool puzzles, amazing castle Dimitrescu ) Last 50% --> 5/10 ( Less and less horror and puzzles. Just action, action, action and a flood of enemies, etc. ) It started really well and ended on average.

The game was beautiful in terms of story, but if we compare it to Resident Evil 7, it was a little weaker. The sense of fear that Biohazard had and the atmosphere was much more beautiful and creepy, but in terms of graphics and story, it was completely stronger ≧°◡°≦ https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3469041146 Let's go back to Resident Evil 8. I really thank Capcom for completing Ethan's story. After the events that happened in Resident Evil 7, my curiosity was killing me day by day until I was finally able to complete the story. The story of the game was absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere and castle of the game gave a Hogwarts vibe. The game world was dark and mysterious (✿◠‿◠) The game was quite acceptable in terms of graphics, and I didn't have any bugs or problems with the graphics, and everything was running great 😎️❤️ And I must say that Duke would definitely make a good husband xD ^o^ Because he was a great chef and c...

Resident Evil Village delivers a deep and unforgettable mix of horror, puzzles, and action. The story is gripping from the very beginning, pulling you in with mystery and suspense all the way through. The variety of environments from the eerie castle to the snowy village keeps the game world feeling fresh and full of tension. Stunning graphics, cinematic lighting, and high quality sound design all work together to build a truly immersive horror atmosphere. While RE7 was insipred by found footage and american slashers, Village is a love letter to classic monster movies: Dracula, Wolf Man and Frankenstein with hints of Black Sunday and deep ones and as a fan of those I absolutely love it. The only thing that's missing is black and white filter. RE team once again did a banger job and made an amazing game.

This was my very first Resident Evil, and wow… what a ride. I fell in love with the story from the start: the story kept me hooked, and the atmosphere was just incredible. And the jumpscares... my heart sometimes was not having it 😅 I played it twice on casual on my first two playthroughs, but I wasn’t ready to move on from the game. That’s when I decided to go for the platinum trophy. And here I am, 104 hours later, after plenty of stress and retries, I finally got it. Was it exhausting sometimes? Absolutely. Do I regret it? Not for a second. 10/10 game, will play again when I recover from all the trauma from The Mercenaries mode.

I've gone through six playthroughs of this game and can't get enough of it. It captures the gothic aesthetic perfectly and its eerie atmosphere. Every character progresses throughout the plot so beautifully with their motives and struggles. And Ethan is easily one of the best written characters in the RE universe. Capcom did take a wildly different approach with this one (especially after the events of Biohazard), but it was balanced into the main plotline very well. I especially love how they did Chris' character for this game, but my only complaint is his attitude towards Ethan up until the Heisenberg fight and the reason for it made no sense to me. But I guess it could be cause he suffers from PTSD and massive anxiety, Boulder buddy needs a margarita and a holiday on a resort, away from all this bioterrorism.

Awful compared to the old Resident Evil games. Not fun, not scary, not enjoyable in any way. Mia and Ethan are shitty characters and I hate them both. The only returning character I saw Chris Redfield seems somehow even more devoid of personality than the old games. There's literally like 5+ minutes of walking simulator before the actual game starts, walking around your house putting your daughter to bed, walking around in a spooky forest with Blair Witch project camera and no light while SPOOKY NOISES happen, walking around an abandoned village with MORE SPOOKY NOISES Combat in the game consists of fighting werewolves while using your hands to block, 5 seconds after the first werewolf you encounter eats half of one of your hands. I'm sorry but I can only do the ludonarrative dissonance thing so far, when you're having me block the thing that eats my hand in the cutscene 5 seconds after the cutscene with my hands I just laugh at how unbelieveable and goofy your combat system is. I...

After seeing the level of production in the Dimitrescu's cutscenes I do understand why everything else is full of bugs, texture problems and balance issues, I guess.
