It's a chore. I own the 2018 college basketball game from Wolverine Studios and have probably played it upwards of 200 hours (not on Steam). I think I would love this game if everything didn't move SO. SLOW. In DDS: College Basketball 2018, when you click on a tab, it loads pretty seamlessly and quickly. In this game, whenever you click on ANY tab, it gives you a loading screen. It's very annoying and hard for me to understand why it's necessary, since this game is not graphically demanding. When you simulate through a week in the college basketball game, every CPU game simulates incredibly fast, and when you reach the final game of a given day and it simulates to the next day, it goes pretty quickly. In this game, there's far fewer games on a given day since there are only 30 teams, but it takes so much longer to simulate through the days. It was hardly noticeable in the other game but in this game, it's torturous. Also, I can't and won't accept that when you're drafting, in any ca...

Pretty fun, but lacks lots of usually-required functionality (looking at Overalls in a Fantasy Draft, as an example; also being able to filter instead of just sort). My game also gets an unhandled exception error after Season 1 and then I can't play anymore, so that's pretty rough. I would say wait a while before buying (even though it's April and the game was released in November).
Horrible, 30 seconds loading screen for EVERY CLICK. Dont wast your 20
I have nearly 200 hours in 2017, I bought this when my save ran into issues and the support team was still willing to take my save files and help me out with my issues, all for a $5 game I love with poor reviews. This series is amazing, in terms of interface I'm more used to the old game and I do find the loading to be longer for this game but it's likely sacrificing speed for some stability older releases don't have. In terms of manager games there's a ton going on with this series but it was inviting enough to attract me and keep me interested, someone who does not play basketball but loves manager games. It's a shame, in exchange for having a very involving sim you sometimes need to think about your own save file and have understanding where it and how it works, there's a lot of moving pieces and sometimes issues happen, in the '17 release just loading and playing like other Steam games would cause your game to eventually crash into a wall, you're signing up for a sim game so I'd ...
