If game does not allow save during mission it should be very stable. This is not the case of this game. I am getting both consistent (repeatable) and random crashes preventing to finish first mission after tutorial. Not recommended before fix.

It glitches easily in combat, it is unplayable. Restarted multiple times for different controls glitching each time.

Strictly speaking, I hate posting reviews for games I haven't completed the main game for, but I simply cannot do that for this one. I say that, because the game crashes or freezes in one way or another throughout the course of trying to play it. If there is a storm on the battle grid, game stops working. Every other mission, there is a repeat loop of the initiation sequence for said battle grid. I've had a visual glitch that kept stats of a unit on the screen for the duration of the mission. And all of this could have been overlooked if the game allowed SAVING DURING A MISSION. It's bad enough that every mission during the campaign starts up EXACTLY the same way, a feat that could have been avoided by just giving you a ship and total control of your home system, rather than forcing you to build the same 1-infantry fleet on turn one just to get some income. Add onto that the fairly lackluster variety of units, wherein the same 2 units can basically carry you through all battles with ...

At the time of writing I only played ~2 hours and it hard-crashed twice, and since there are no in-mission saves, I had to restart the entire mission from the beginning. This was extremely vexing. Maybe it's good if you dodge the bugs but twice in two hours in basically unplayable, especially when a mission can be pretty long.

Played the beta, bought the game. Unique exploratory travel/resource acquisition with turn-based encounters, As you advance, you'll be able to form multi-unit multi-skill squads (check out the dev's demo vid). Cool artwork and immersive audio ambiance

I really want to like this game. Its got all the features and content that I want in the game its just TOO buggy. Small ghost images left after card actions. Random camera centering that makes the ships hard to maneuver. Dialogue repeating. Each of them is fairly small but it leads me to the feeling of the homer Simpson meme, and those clips are holding up a beautiful game that's falling apart.

hmm. there's a good game here, but it's got bugs & the UI can be touchy. also the campaign is broken into stages which seem to have to be completed in one shot, in-game saves just reset the stage. at almost 4 hrs of gameplay I feel like I've only scratched the surface of the campaign & having had to restart several stages due to crashes, I don't really feel like putting any more time into this. want to like, but I definitely do not recommend in this state (even on sale).

Normally I'd try to give a game a little more time, but I'm just *bored*. The tutorial has no real spark (not that I expect a tutorial to be thrilling, but it could have a bit of pizazz), the writing could use a tiny bit of editing, and I couldn't even get past the first mission of the tutorial without a soft-lock and having to restart. Not to mention the profile pictures, when selecting them, were well beyond the actual resolution of the pictures, making them fuzzy and vague. I think that works pretty well as a description - fuzzy and vague. Toss in bland, and you've got my review. I wish it was't so, I'd love to support an indie, but yikes.

Decent premise and ideas for an indie but hampered by truly terribly clunky AI. Can't recommend.
