Say No! More

I think I'd probably best describe this as an on rails shooter of some kind. You go on a guided path and scream NO at people. It's VERY cathartic and I think it's a game we should all play and internalize the message of (saying NO to people is good). +Genuinely cute and funny, gets REALLY crazy and over the top at points so it's incredibly entertaining +Has full character customization which is nice +Somehow has multiple ways to say NO so it can keep you on your toes +Lots of secrets and even alternate routes to find so there's replay incentive -Should I say something negative? NO!!!

I could write a simple review with just the word 'Yes' or 'No' and hope people find that funny enough to give me steam awards but I don't think I can truly feel good doing that. This game, cute and silly it may be. It is really a statement about life itself. You will have moments throughout life where you need to say yes to things but more importantly, you will need to say no to people! This game consists of multiple languages to say no with which is always nice, both male and female voices but your character remains ungendered and referred to as 'they' the whole game which is always nice for inclusivity. As of writing this review it took me around two hours to complete the story (ignoring 100% achievements) and going through the chapters and the plot developing more and more it really allowed me to connect to reoccurring characters. "Say No! More" was super fun and the style is so cute. I loved the silly vibe, it made me laugh a lot. Also, being able to give my character purple clothes was the best part. :D

★★★☆☆ Say No! More is a quirky, narrative-driven experience. It's got colorful visuals, comical animations, and jazzy music and takes less than 2hrs to beat. The core gameplay is just the act of saying "No", with different styles and charges. Do not expect to do anything more than pressing the same exact button that does the same exact thing every time. The story is truly inspirational. It all starts with one intern and one lunchbox. The message of saying "No" to unrealistic demands is powerful and relatable. While the gameplay might be boring and repetitive, it is still a fun and heartfelt narrative experience.
