Cute 80's style retro racer. Outrun, Race & Chase spring to mind. But keyboard only, no controller support which is a big turn off for me especially in racing games. Also annoying - No button to quit to desktop (apart from Alt F4) Its 2020 these should be standard even for an Indie developer. Fix these or at least the controller issue and i will change to positive
Cute, and pretty cheap but : Quick question : How do you exit the game while in fullscreen mode ? ! I can do it, in Unity DE (ubuntu) by going into window spread mode, but that's hardly optimal . Ok, some time later EDIT : Still I can't find a way to exit the game, other then through task manager . Its a shame, is a cute game in the Lotus III tradition .
god, why does this exist? lmao everything about it is just awful and is a plain ripoff of Horizon Chase Turbo except you don't have laps, the game is boring & collisions suck ass...even if this game is free, it is definitely not worth your time
No controller support. No exit / quit button (you have to alt-tab). Car goes in reverse if you take the finger off the accelerator key. Feels like a very cheap and very broken version of Horizon Chase Turbo. Product refunded. For a Top 10 of Arcade Racers from indie developers try... It's a lot of fun to play, I loved playing horizon chase turbo on my ps4 and I enjoyed this game too :).
No controller input. No Quit option, unless you use Alt+F4 4/10
It's like a really good, really fun, colorful, loud 80's arcade game, complete with "period" electronic arcade music. You would have blown at least $50 in quarters on this one back in the day. The game is so old skool that you can practically smell the stale smoke, the cheap perfume of the mall ratz, and the foul hygiene of the arcade attendant. Turn the lamps low, switch on some black lights, and have a HUGE amount of fun.
It's very similar to Formula Car Racing Simulator in the sense that it borrows similar elements like tracks, gameplay, controls, clumsy AI, music sound effects, game modes and even the same Unity engine, the only good thing is that the graphical presentation is more suited for this type of arcade racer. It's still a cheap, bare-bones attempt to compete against Horizon Chase Turbo which is much better in comparison. Neat for a quick playthough, but that was about it.
It´s cheap, it´s colorful, it´s an easy to learn, no-brainer racer, the car is glued to the ground. Perfect for when you just want to play something to steam off without really thinking about it seriously. And it also has a hint of nostalgia.
