This is a good simple rpg. It has a solid story that makes sense and you get to know the characters enough to like them and invest in their quest. There are some things I REALLY liked and some things I thought could be adjusted. I liked the shields a lot. It made this game different but not too complicated. The travel systems were interesting and useful. You didn't just go from walking to a boat, to a ship, to a dragon or something like that so it worked with the way you play. It was pretty linear until you are close to the end but then it opened up a bit. I wish there had been a map. Location names are hard for me to remember. The other things that I didn't enjoy as much were part of the battle system, It defaults to magic and I would have preferred it to default to attack and then there is a bug that when you want to select an item or a skill that you chose last, it shows something else but is actually the same thing if you just hit enter. About This Game
-A well designed game world containing over 600 highly detailed boards that is both exciting and adventurous to traverse.
-Traditional but original turn based combat featuring both magic and item based attacks where planning and strategy are the key.
-Deep crafting system which supports the item-based battle economy of the game, which features over a hundred item based attacks.
-A ton of variety through-out the game. Enemies are not repeated and are unique to their respective location, bosses have their own signature moves, excellent pacing that feels on point with the length of the game (~15-20 hours), beautiful soundtrack, and much more.

Get ready for a fun, challenging, well done jrpg (took me over 30 hours to complete). Be patient in the beginning (as just like a great book the first few chapters set the storyline then delivers bigtime). Many areas to explore and later on in game you can return to them to pick up additional goodies from the same treasures chests. Has no quest menu so just make a mental note on where to go. The quests are well done and give high powered weapons and items. Explore everywhere and battles are challenging and quick. And one of the best things is that the developer is quick to respond and help and fix any bugs. Just wish more developers were this fast to respond with many other rpgs. A definite jrpg winner!
Very Linear, the maps are also very simple. The battle formations are nearly identical and lack originality. Very Linear means exactly that, your force to take one path only all the time, no in game choices, no world map, and the menu is very bad.
