the game is good but suffers from the typical indie problem (1 or 2 annoying zones and a hard final boss)
the best and worst part of the game is that is feels a lot (a lot!) like a game of the golden ps1 era, it has the amazing quality of those games but at the same time the clunky parts

I wanted to like this game, but it is so broken, like it was released in a Beta state.
The game only ONCE saved my settings properly, they reset every other time. And the game is SUPER un-optimized, and lacks proper graphics options to help mitigate it. Not that it would help when they keep resetting. This sucks when SUPER INEFFICIENT RAY TRACING IS ON BY DEFAULT AND KEEPS TURNING ITSELF BACK ON.
On top of that, the animations are super stiff and lifeless, the level design is samey and boring, and you are almost guaranteed to take damage from enemies because you need to get in melee range most of the time, and enemies will just make you take damage without them even doing a swing animation half the time.
I sincerely regret spending money on this game, it's really not good and the developer has not done anything to remedy these errors after all these years, and that's a shame.

Great game! A bit overpriced in my opinion considering how short it is, so buy it on sale. The characters are great, the game is very straight forward, a mix of combat and parkour with unique and stunning graphics, some fun puzzles, great atmosphere and great soundtrack. A few double jumps can be frustrating but that's about it for the negatives...

Such a fun game to get ready for fall and Halloween. It has such nostalgic vibes that take me back to the PS2 days. The game play is so fun, the narration well done and I also enjoyed all the Easter eggs. My millennial heart enjoyed that thank you. I highly recommend this game to anyone that loves Halloween or just in general. It was fun and a bit challenging at times. It kept me very engaged. I would love to see a Pumpkin Jack 2 in the future if that were ever a possibility. Thank you for such a great game!

Cute Halloween themed platformer with some light puzzle elements. It has a nice art style and music, movement is a bit floaty, but you get used to it. Not very difficult, though it ramps up at the final boss.
The vibe reminds me of Nightmare before Christmas and MediEvil, nice bit of fun to be had.

I'm not much of a 3D platformer but this one is cool -- it's a bit corny but it has a lot of charm. It plays well, isn't too difficult and just feels quite retro. Pumpkin Jack would be right at home on the PS2.

Neat little world building and it reminds me of a ps2 game I would have loved. Short experience but well designed :3 only crit. i have is combat can be a bit of a slug, but overall the weapons and world design is beautiful. Would defiantly play again and get another from this developer :3
