Mira is more of a visual novel with some hidden-object elements - there is no exploration or inventory-based puzzles that you would find in traditional adventure games. You can complete the game around 90 minutes, although I suspect that I have not discovered the 'true ending'. There are several story choices which in theory should change the ending cutscene, but so far I got the same result following 2 different paths, however, I noticed more than 2 possibilities to end the game. I don't know if I am giving the developer too much credit, it would be a shame if all 'hard decisions' had the same outcome. When it comes to puzzles, I have never played a game in this genre with so little challenge; there are only 3 types of easy riddles, including pattern matching, hidden-object, and sequencing (and I could do most of them with my eyes closed). Ultimately, you should be buying this game for the story, and if you get bored reading text, you probably won't enjoy it. I thought the game had i...

I'll be refunding this. It's more like the outline of a game. You meet a supernatural being, do a rudimentary puzzle, move on to the next being. The in-game mythology is so convoluted I can't follow it, but it barely showed how that linked with the characters or the game's events. All the interesting things have already happened. We're just told a little of them before we get forced to make a choice with results we have to context to explain. Apart from the artwork, it's quite rudimentary.
Very nice adventure game +great art +Great atmosphere +Very good music +All characters have unique personality to them +Iteresting facts about slavik culture +/- Simple and easy puzzles +/- Its an interactive story not something like Grim Fandango for example -short -sometimes clicks are unresponsive Bardzo fajna gra przygodowa z wciagajaca atmosfera dzieki pieknej grafice i dobrze dopasowanej muzyce. Gra swietnie tez przedstawia kulture slowniaska
So far for all of you out there fascinated by slavic symbolic and dreaming about a second world that holds all the mysterys its a quite nice short trip! the paintings are really cool and the sound effects fits good. its like a book to click and enjoy. for me and the money i spend for it was quite enjoyable! i would love to see much more symbols and storys about the other gods as well!
Mira is a beautiful game, but definitely not a point-n-click adventure one. It is more of a visual novel with some very simple riddles here and there. Set in a slavic mythology inspired magical world with short segments taking place in post-WWII KrakĂłw, it tells the story of the eponymous Mira who finds herself in the aforementioned magical world, somewhat fogged memory and mysterious ties to the mythological creatures. What is good? Definitely the visuals. The backgrounds, the characters are all hand-painted and beautifully, if a bit statically, animated. Truly, each and every scene you see in the game is wallpaper worthy. So 10/10, art is wonderful, go buy the artbook. Music and sounds are also nice, though very modest. They fit with the scenes, set the atmosphere well, are pleasing for the ear. Nothing outstanding, but certainly nothing to frown at either. The mediocre? Story isn't particularly engaging - solid writing, nothing very surprising. Dialogues are very short and to t...
I'm surprised by this game! The story is really deep and has a lot of metaphorical meanning. Its longer than I expected reading reviews. I mean steam shows already 103 minutes of play and I didn't finished it yet. It also have decissions and dialogue system, that makes when I will finish it I will for sure try it again. That game for sure is worth the money. Especially if You like atmoshperic novel game with elements of adventure game.
For a one-time experience, this was a delightful one. Not unlike any point-and-click adventure game or visual novel, I have ever played due to the way it presents itself with glorious hand-painted backgrounds and character art that are beautifully animated and have a unique layout with the ways the character have the side of their face turn away in front of you. Despite some translation issues, the story was enjoyable and very interesting to understand with many imaginative lore building and exploration. The music is mysterious and hopeful. The point-and-click aspect is very light, and puzzles are fairly easy (except for the last 2). I did find sometimes the UI doesn't respond when I want to click on things or make dialogue decisions, but if I don't hover over it after a while, it fixes itself out. If you like what you see from the images and trailers, you shouldn't hibernate and just buy Mira, but set your expectations low as this is a short game, and it kind of ended with some q...
I played this entire game for stream for 5 hours straight, and we had so much fun! There were a few flaws in the game where the selection boxes wouldn't become available if you didn't click soley that, like the lexicon before the selection box (you could click the escape button and it would sorta of made the screen a little grainier and then you could continue but it would become a little harder to read and see what you're doing). And a few errors in the English translation, but if you are able to get past those small things it's a wonderful story game. I really recommend if you are going to play this to stream it and do it with a community watching (if you stream)! The decision making REALLY makes you think about your decisions and we were all wanting to know what was going to happen next! Also the art in this game is so beautiful as well as the music and the little sounds throughout! Thank you for a cool and a captivating visual novel!
This game is so stunning. The rich lore and inspiration really shines through. Very friendly for people with poor hand eye co-ordination. Happily played through twice. Lovely short and sweet. Worth the money in my opinion.
Not much in the form of actual gameplay. Just some very simple puzzles. If you like visual novels might want to give it a try. Beautiful hand painted art and animations that remind me of picture books. I enjoyed discovering all the lore.
