After being disappointed with Shovel Knight:Dig someone recommended this to me. So much goddamn fun. Love the easy to play hard to master formula here! And having many of the cast here makes it an extra plus

love this game, i have played it to the final boss on the switch, it had a lot of free additions since 1.0 is a very fun puzzle , original, and it doesn't feel repetitive because of the well balanced roguelike elements, feels more roguelike than roguelite is what i'm saying. very recommended, even if you dont like shovel knight, this is a spin off game with very different mechanics, akin to a dungeon tetris.

An uncompromising fusion of a falling block puzzler and a classical roguelike, similar to Necrodancer. Despite the upbeat visual style, it's brutal. Gotta hand it to them though, as far as videogames go this is about as real as they come.

It is such a fun and addicting game. All of the characters just are so well designed and detailed. The new knights to the roster are lovely and creative as well! This is the kind of game I wish I had on the DS to play handheld to just play constantly.

#Beaten - 15 hours - Spectre Knight Shovel Knight Picket Dungeon is a clever take of the falling blocks formula. Move your character on the board in real-time, bumping up against groups of enemies. Connected (same) enemies take damage and also deal damage to you. Collect health potions to heal. Buy upgrades and find treasure rooms. Defeat bosses! There isnt much to not like here Pros: - Lots of different characters to play as, each with a unique ability or power (you unlock these by beating them) - Lots of character upgrades to get, all of which feel useful - Lots of weapons to find. Note weapons and items have limited durability. - Multiple modes, including the campaign, daily challenge, and multipler. - Mods (new characters) Overall, a very easy recommendation if you like these kinds of games and a great use of the Shovel Knight license.
