About This Game

Customization and diversity lie at the heart of ASCENDANTS Rising, a revolutionary, CO-OP Action-RPG where players team up, and battle their way across the Multiverse with Incarnates, powerful characters from across space and time. Whether you’re playing as a Healer, Striker, or Protector, your unique Incarnate will be able to master countless combinations of abilities, as well as Artefacts: mighty weapons that can be infused and leveled up with an array of gems. With three game modes (Coliseum, Dungeons, & Raids), randomly generated bosses, and a story stretching across numerous themed worlds ranging from Medieval Fantasy, Lovecraftian Horror, Sci-Fi, as well as Urban Fantasy, there is always something new for you and your friends to experience. What will you encounter in the Multiverse?

What can you expect from Ascendants Rising?

Do you like MMORPGs? Are you tired of the tedious grind, the group hunting, and the long treks before you are allowed to have fun? Or maybe you just don't have time for this anymore?

Then, do we have the game for you!

In ASCENDANTS Rising, you can find:

  • Quick Access to the Action: In a group, in just a few clicks from logging in, you could be slaughtering your enemies and picking up that sweet, sweet loot from their cold, dead bodies.
  • No Grind: Your level does not define your usefulness. Your gaming skills (to be acquired separately), teammates, and choice of build will be your ticket to victory.
  • A Build-a-Class System: There is no Class restriction. The large selection of spells, weapons and other perks will help you shape your own play-style! You want to slap enemies with your big sword to heal your team? Done! You want to backstab enemies with your gun? Sure, why not! You want to savor some classic crispy Fireball-cooked enemies? We can hook you up!
  • Ever-Changing Levels: You think you know that boss over there? That you're going to slice him up with the ol’ rusty kitchen knife so he can cough up some loot? Well, think again, because the Multiverse is a cold, unforgiving mistress. Everything from environments, encounters, enemies, and even the boss mechanics themselves are randomized.

Find Players

As of right now, Ascendants Rising is a 4 player COOP only title. You will need to form a group by inviting people through Steam. You can also search for people to play with on our official Discord:

A group finder tool is being developed right now and should be available soon to help you find a team.

there are times where simply using the character-creator is enough to immediately know the game's overall quality-level. this game is no exception - do NOT buy. this unpolished, buggy mess of an Early-Access launch was CLEARLY rushed just to get your $$$. it barely meets the requirements of a tech-demo - and a bad one, at that. I won't even bother detailing what's wrong because that's about how much effort the devs put into making their game in the first place. don't waste your money nor your time.

DO NOT BUY!!! Ascendants Rising (a hilarious title) is just awful in this state. It's in EA, which is fine, but this game seems as though it is barely even in beta. It is bland, unattractive, and way out of its league. There are so many solid free-to-play games or games that you can get for less that $20 that are complete experiences that there really isn't any reason to pay this asking price, especially considering this is barely in a playable state at all. Allow me to go through the things I came across after a few minutes of playing this dreadful mess: - Graphics and animation that would have been sub-par in 2010 - Bad gameplay that just amounts to trading blows with enemies that move the same speed as you - Ugly character designs with only one hair option (female) that doesn't have the side of the head or whole head shaved and also stealing that overdone Fortnite character style - Lame, repetitive music that sounds like it was pulled from a royalty free site - Dull combat that...

Some work needed, controls somewhat unresponsive( couldnt make the char move forward pressing W but after few strafes left right, W started to work ), mobs ( boss+trash) moving like on redbull, cant outrun any of them. So u need to backtrack constantly and use atk+another skill that hopefully heals u more than what the mobs take away constantly. This could be a problem for other classes as i tried only wizard type char whos got decent heal skills. So why recommend? Its an interesting concept, if they fix movement speed for mobs and/or player, make the controls bit more responsive and add some content, could be nice. Cant say anything about coop wich could be good, as i entered the hub after the tutorial, noone was there. For 14 euros, depending on what developers do with it, could be a nice little game. Just my 2 cents.

Extremely buggy. Crashes frequently. The last update was on August 6th, 2021. Though there was a time when this game showed some promise, it has ever since been abandoned by the developers. Really not worth your money.
