About This Game
You are a captain in the United Defense Force, captain of your own star ship. Recruit your crew, customise your ship and head out to explore the galaxy, defending Earth against the mysterious extraterrestrial threat, known as the Phasmids! There will be challenges ahead. Crew members will be lost. Dangerous missions must be undertaken. Galactic Legends will be made!
Travel through the galaxy to defeat the threat to humankind across a range of sorties, including reconnaissance, bounty hunts, reclamation and NEW Away Team missions. Train your crew into an elite fighting force from Captain to Comms Officer to tackle stressful and deadly situations such as fighter attack and ship invasions, whilst also repairing systems and putting out the odd fire or two! Customise and upgrade your spaceship with improved weapons, armour, engines and more (even a custom paint job for extra style!)
Android Ambush
Android Ambush is a brand-new campaign to add to the core Space Crew adventure. Take on a droid army led by rogue androids, previously allied with the United Defence Force! Battle against a whole host of new Enemy Champions and ships across a new star system with new gear, liveries and upgrades available for victorious Captains to unlock. However, these androids don’t play by the same rules as the phasmids, so you’ll have to re-write your tactics from scratch.
Away Team Missions
Leave your ship and venture on foot with three of your crew onto outposts and large vessels in the all NEW Away Team missions, discoverable across both Space Crew campaigns. Selecting the right team will be critical for survival as Away Team missions can consist of exploration, puzzles, or combat… sometimes even against the clock!
Legendary Crew Members
A Legendary Edition needs legendary crew! Build and personalise your ultimate crew by rescuing and discovering legendary crew members with amazing abilities and superior stats. However, you won’t just be able to recruit these one-of-a-kind crew members, you’ll have to find them during rescue and Away Team missions or unlock them using codes from community competitions.

User Reviews
While I absolutely love the concept of this game, the execution is too poor for me to recommend the game. It clearly needed to spend much more time in playtesting before being released. I got the game for $2, but even then, the experience is fairly unpleasant. The core gameplay loop of the game is just.....not very fun/interesting/exciting. The game is 3D with actual 3D movement between spaceships and places, but as far as I can tell, you can't actually control the ship's movement, which is horrible, because your ship's placement versus enemy ships is critical, and the AI piloting your ship is totally clueless to the situation. (i.e. my rear side has lost shields, but our pilot continues to expose our rear to *all* enemies) Despite being in tutorial mode, the game didn't explain hacking to me, *and* it also had enemies board my ship for the first time on top of the hacking, neither of which it explained to me before overwhelming me with both. I'm an FTL veteran, but I died very quic...
This game is not for everyone but the same can be said for all the crew games. At this point they are essentially a style of game being made by one company. Comparing this to FTL is not the way to approach this game, they are very similar games but its completely asinine to really compare the two. It is a lot like other space games or crew managers. But crew games have their own style and approach to this kind of game. Some people claim the controls are clunky. But they are actually very straight forward if you have the mental capacity to read and use a mouse to steer. Its important to remember in crew games that you control the crew not the vehicle, the pilot controls the vehicle and the navigator navigates. If you can figure that out you'll essentially be able to fly anywhere for any reason and still be able to tag enemies and make repairs. There are even accessibility options to auto tag enemies or slow down time if your really having a hard time. Doesn't feel as high stakes as bomb...
Game is broken, i cant even get past the tutorial. Its get stuck on trying to redirect to the moon. I can't get my pilot to board. Was hoping that this would be an amazing game...
Controls are SOOOO wonky!!!
Fun to play. Challenging. Fun graphics.
I wish there was more to the story (and player choices in there), because otherwise the game will be compared to FTL Faster than Light - and FTL is better, it has greater variety of ships (for starters). Although can I manage to finish Space Crew campaign, instead dying like a whiny b**th in FTL. I like all the improvements over Bomber Crew.
Similar to Bomber Crew. Similar to FTL. Fun but a grind to advance through the game without a lot of variation. Worth the few dollars it was on sale.
its like Star Trek
