I really wanted to like this game. I love eclectic adventure style games but this was not one of them I realise that the developers are working hard to make it better but I think they are not aware of how it seems to those of us used to playing top notch light adventure /hog style games. This is a BAD game. REALLY bad. Items disappear from inventory before even being used , A monster appears and growls but who is it? What is even going on???? It has NO coherent story and no direction or ideas on what to do or anything. The PIANO puzzle...what the???? ugh. AVOID.

I love these types of games but usually the price tag is like 15-20 bucks, which to me is never a good investment...but this right here with the price tag is exactly what this should be at! Explore and find items, I don't know about you guys, but these were some of my first games I ever played as a kid, so it's nice to explore them again as an adult! Thumbs up, good story, challenging puzzles sometimes and a good game all around!
This hidden object game was on sale and even though the ratings are negative I decided to give it a try because I really liked the aesthetics and the story seemed interesting. The story is about a young orphan girl named Sarah. After repeatedly been sent back to the orphanage by her previous 5 parents she finally found her forever home. At first the parents were happy with Sarah, but they started to ignore her when they got a baby of their own. I can't even imagine how hard that must be for an orphan that already felt unwanted by so many people, how could you do that to a child?! The lonely Sarah commits suicide and becomes an evil spirit after her parents secretly buried her in the garden. I finished the game and there was no justice for poor Sarah, apart from a letter that her mother wrote to tell her she loved Sarah and that they in fact did ignore her. The mother also wrote that Sarah didn't understand it, but how could she understand? What a horrible story, it actually pissed me ...
requested refund, too many bugs can't play. I tried for an hour play time however just as mentioned in other reviews there are just to many things with this game that makes it unplayable. quick list, getting stuck in a scene to move to another but can't. hint button not working which someone mentioned that it only works in the hidden object scenes and if that's the case what's the point. no skip button for mini games. I had to force close the game several times because of the no menu showing up when I went to get to the menu and also when I couldn't get out of one scene to get to another. when I went back in game I was still stuck at this door. if the developer plans on fixing all these things and others that were mentioned it may be a somewhat enjoyable game for some casual play but in this state it's not enjoyable or playable sorry to say. update: I appreciate the developer responding to my review however at the time I received the refund I requested. I would consider c...
This game could have been better in my honest opinion regards to story, ending was pretty meh. Puzzles weren't too bad to figure out. Finished in just over an hour so ill say it was too short, I'm not saying its overly bad but its not on the top of my HOG's list either If you like simple games like this then go for it but don't expect much
Pros: - cheap Cons: - no penalty for spam clicking - hints rarely work, basically only during HO scenes - graphics not on par with other new HOGs - menu option doesn't work (gray room where you can only click on bed) - cursor doesn't change when on pickable items - no info or sign when using wrong inventory item on interactibles - no animations or sound when using items i.e. keys just disappears from inventory - inventory items aren't named when hovering over them - inventory items don't organize themselves, after using one there is an empty space in the inventory - dragging keys on doors sometimes work and sometimes doesn't - can access zoom area even when location is done - info text is blocking all interactions, you have to click exactly on arrows to exit - font says "cheap game" - clunky interface - weird collisions, I clicked on right item and had to click lower (i.e. hockey stick) - why am I facing towards door when entering a room? - items are in weird spots compared to the rest...
OK, first review... and it's not a good one. Firstly I didn't expect to complete the game in 40 minutes... am I missing something? I mean, It's okay if you're 12 and looking for a thrill but... I'm not 12 and expected something more than that. What a let down. And considering its just had a bug fix I still found it really slow. Well done to the game developers (I mean I couldn't do it) and it's an ok-ish story line (need more cut scenes dudes) but with the standard of games out there... pfft
No map. Confusing. Too dark. Don't recommend.
An underrated GEM on Steam. One of the worst-reviewed, yet timeless point-and-click adventures of all time. Easily rivals King's Quest V for both ingenuity, gameplay, deep lore, 256-color graphics, and frames-per-second action. Don't trip and lose your necklace! Haha. Spoilers.
Just straight Garbage don't waste your money.
