About This Game

A fast paced twin-stick roguelite platformer. Climb an ominous clock tower in a series of procedural encounter rooms and past challenging boss fights on your way to reclaiming your lost memory.

Exchange health for power in fast paced glass cannon gameplay. Find the right balance of attack and defense as you try, die, repeat and progress up the tower

Battle through an almost infinite variety of combat encounters in procedurally generated rooms

Twin stick shooting, dashing and wall sliding are just the beginning - find power-ups and items on each run and upgrade your arsenal

An extensive set of options lets you tweak Revita to your playstyle - slow down time, set an outline colour for enemies to make them easier to track or choose the level of aim assist that feels right for you.

Explore an underground subway line infested with monsters and filled with colourful characters who will help you on your journey. Travelling from station to station where elevators take you towards the heights of an ever changing clocktower.

A nameless child with no memories awakens in the metro with only a vague sense of purpose and desire to reach the distant clocktower, hoping to find answers at the top. On the way they will discover a melancholic world filled with masked characters, monsters and perhaps the answers that the child seeks.

An awesome game for anyone who enjoys dungeon crawler/rogue-like type of games. Didn't think I'd enjoy it when a friend showed it to me, but now it's routine to run the "tower" once a day at least, fell in love with the gameplay after a while.

I have played this game a ton on my PS4 and since there was a beta version that is only available on PC, I decided to buy it again when it was on sale. I easily put over a hundred hours into in, so you can ignore my hours listed here... with that being said, this game is fantastic and well worth the time and money, even at full price. The amount of secrets and unlockable items are both astounding and there is some great late game content for those who want to put in the time to get good. If you like roguelike/roguelite games or action platformers, this is one you should totally have on your radar.

This game has a lot of potential, but I can see why it never really got the recognition it deserves. There are many design decisions that detract from the game for me. For me, the controls were a big barrier - but one I was (am) willing to try and ignore to check out a good experience. Strangely enough, I think the heart aspect (sacrificing to gain) is not the deal breaker as some reviews suggest. It's actually other small things that affect game play. I'll admit to not being a huge fan of twin-stick *anything* , but even that isn't what turned me off to the game. Dodge / evade mechanics seem too short and i-frames on virtually everything don't seem to be apparent as to where they start and end. Attacks are also somewhat subtle in some of their effects , like I was confused why I was taking damage at times - it wasn't immediately obvious with some enemies. Case in point, the ones that toss orbs which , apparently have splash damage. The splash damage that is so subtle, it lost 3 hea...

The game is really good. Last time a game gave me these feelings was for The Binding of Isaac. They are still different games, but that addictive feeling paired with so many unlocks brings me back to that time. The game is very enjoyable because you have to do more than hack & slash, using your movement which feels very good once you get the hang of it. That is already a lot more than what other roguelites ask, and then you have the items and synergies. The game oozes with style, which might not be to everybody's taste, but I personally love it. The game probably deserves to have much more recognition than it does. Just remember to enable the 2.0 beta branch and have fun.
