I really love the characters and the story is cool and I thought the puzzles were pretty fun! Definitely played it more for the story though. I also thought the worldbuilding was pretty interesting, especially on the history front. It was a bit shorter than I was expecting after the demo, but hey, 7 chapters isn't bad for the price (especially when it's on sale)! I finished it in just a few days (though I haven't gotten all the endings or anything), which should give you an idea how much I enjoyed it. Also made me cry a few times, and I got a fair number of laughs out of it.

I loved this game!! The friendships and romance was so sweet and well done. This is a rare game where you don't need a guide, you just play how you like too and you will get the ending you want. The only time a guide might be needed was one of the sad routes (also an achievement), I refused to get that route, I just couldn't it was too sad. The puzzles will be hard if you don't read the directions and do some alchemy with Elizabeth. There is one puzzle in chapter 3 that may have been confusing, look to the highlighted orbs and WHERE they highlight on the grid. The game has some harder alchemy crafting puzzles but you don't need to complete them to get all the extra backstory... I didn't know that until after i did all the hard ones... I'm embarrassed to say I took a whole hour on just one of the alchemy recipes. Last tip, make sure you have all the flowers I usually saved alchemy till after I talked to everyone in the day. Highly recommended. Chose to grab this game on a whim, and it was worth every second I've played it for. The art is gorgeous, and the characters are fun and charismatic... except for Goldner, but that's a given. The story is a very run-of-the-mill adventure with our (your) homegrown heroic protagonist with their band of misfits to solve a crisis brewing beneath the valley of Anemone. Though not revolutionary, it's well-written and, imo, well-paced. The execution and the characters is what makes this game memorable, and I wish I romanced at least one of them, but alas... I unfortunately frendzoned them too much, and the romance option didn't appear in later Chapters. Although I said the game is well-paced, I find that it's only for the majority of it. papa me want more movie but in all seriousness i genuinely adore the storytelling in this game, the voice acting is lovely, the art, sprites and backgrounds are amazing they were really well done, the fantasy setting in the world is so fun and the world building is really good, like i cant stress enough how much i loved this game, like the alchemy function is really nice and adds i feel a bit bummed out that i finished the game in two playthroughs but that's totally my own fault there. i do wish the game was a bit longer, but the 7 chapters we had were really good and the characters and their development were paced well considering the story length it was a lovely game to grab while on sale and if you plan on playing it, keep in mind that it is kinda short so do with that what you will!
