About the Game

A galaxy-spanning adventure awaits in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a new third-person action-adventure title from Respawn Entertainment. This narratively driven, single-player game puts you in the role of a Jedi Padawan who narrowly escaped the purge of Order 66 following the events of Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith. On a quest to rebuild the Jedi Order, you must pick up the pieces of your shattered past to complete your training, develop new powerful Force abilities and master the art of the iconic lightsaber - all while staying one step ahead of the Empire and its deadly Inquisitors.

While mastering your abilities, players will engage in cinematically charged lightsaber and Force combat designed to deliver the kind of intense Star Wars lightsaber battles as seen in the films. Players will need to approach enemies strategically, sizing up strengths and weaknesses while cleverly utilizing your Jedi training to overcome your opponents and solve the mysteries that lay in your path.

Star Wars fans will recognize iconic locations, weapons, gear and enemies while also meeting a roster of fresh characters, locations, creatures, droids and adversaries new to Star Wars. As part of this authentic Star Wars story, fans will delve into a galaxy recently seized by the Empire. As a Jedi hero-turned-fugitive, players will need to fight for survival while exploring the mysteries of a long-extinct civilization all in an effort to rebuild the remnants of the Jedi Order as the Empire seeks to erase the Jedi completely.

KEY FEATURES

  • Cinematic, Immersive Combat – Jedi: Fallen Order delivers the fantasy of becoming a Jedi through its innovative lightsaber combat system–striking, parrying, dodging–partnered with a suite of powerful Force abilities you’ll need to leverage to overcome obstacles that stand in your way. This combat system is intuitive but takes training and practice to fully master its nuances as you gain new powers and abilities along your adventure.
  • A New Jedi Story Begins - As a former Padawan on the run from the Empire, you must complete your training before Imperial Inquisitors discover your plan to revive the Jedi Order. Aided by a former Jedi Knight, a cantankerous pilot and a fearless droid, you must escape the evil machinations of the Empire in a story-driven adventure. Explore and overcome a wide range of challenges focused on combat, exploration and puzzle-solving.
  • The Galaxy Awaits - Ancient forests, windswept rock faces and haunted jungles are all unique biomes you’ll explore in Jedi: Fallen Order, with the freedom to decide when and where you go next. As you unlock new powers and abilities, opportunities open up to re-traverse maps in new ways; leveraging the Force to augment the way you explore. Move quickly, however, as the Empire is actively hunting your every step in their effort to exterminate all remnants of the Jedi Order.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is an amazing experience. The story of Cal Kestis pulled me in right away, and the combat feels like a perfect mix of Souls-like challenge and cinematic Star Wars moments. The platforming can be tricky at times, but overall it’s really satisfying. If you’re planning to play Jedi Survivor, I definitely recommend starting with this one first. It makes the story, the characters, and the whole journey much more meaningful in Survivor. A must-play for any Star Wars fan.

I was really unsure about this game. I see "Very Positive" and think it's going to be a sure thing. I can't tell you how hollow this game feels. Constant platforming, very little fighting. Finding chests just gives you more cosmetics. There's no real reward for exploring. Every new world is the same kind of puzzles. The characters are not engaging. I feel nothing for Cal. Nothing for his companions. I'm glad I got this on sale, otherwise the full price would have been so excessive. Ignore the hype. Play Uncharted or Tomb Raider instead.

This game could be good, if it wasn't for the astonishing choice to add a truly terrible map to a game with no fast travel. WHY? Who thought this was a good idea? Why would I want to spend an hour backtracking through a confusing maze of paths to get back to my ship?? Who would possibly enjoy that? The set pieces so far are gorgeous, and the plot is weak but functional ("Lets go find all the force sensitive children in the galaxy to raise as Jedi to overthrow the evil empire" is a terrible plan for many practical reasons in addition to the whole "child soldiers" angle, but is exactly the sort of thing a Jedi would come up with, so fine) and the traversal is fun at first, but gets incredibly repetitive with the constant forced backtracking! Having played some more since this review I thought I'd update it with a review of the combat; it sucks. Its clearly aiming for a souls-like style, but just ii not very good. Its not difficult per say, but it feels awful a lot of the time with ...

One of the worst games i have ever played. Most stupid storyline. You travel around planets that are basically reskins of one another, parkouring in the meantime and killing stupid mobs. You travel to a planet and the only thing you discover is double jump ability or some other stupid thing. Chests are useless, bosses are almost the same and overall game feels stupid useless and not worthy of your time. The only thing this game is good at is at fighting insomnia. 3/10. Do not recommend

Fallen Order is a great mix of action, exploration, and storytelling, set in the Star Wars universe. You play as Cal Kestis, a Jedi Padawan on the run after Order 66, and the game does a solid job of making you feel like a Jedi slowly regaining his powers. The lightsaber combat is satisfying, especially as you unlock more abilities — it’s got that mix of timing and precision, but still feels accessible. The level design is heavily inspired by Metroidvania-style games, meaning you’ll explore, backtrack, and unlock shortcuts as you gain new powers. Some of the platforming and navigation can be a bit clunky (the map isn’t the most helpful), but the world variety — from snowy mountains to alien jungles — keeps things fresh. The game also takes inspiration from Souls-like mechanics, with meditation points (save points), respawning enemies, and some tough-but-fair combat encounters. Visually, it looks great — environments are detailed and cinematic, and the music captures tha...

I'm not a Star Wars aficionado but I love a good story game and heard high praise for Jedi: Fallen Order. Plus it was on sale cheap! That's why it got added to my backlog. The last thing I expected when I actually played it was for it to remind me so much of the rebooted Tomb Raider Trilogy. I love that trilogy and love this game. Exploring tombs, solving puzzles, Cal uncovering pieces of the story in the environment as I went along, oh, and all the squeezes through tight spaces serving as transitions between areas. Although the parkour was well done reminding me of Prince of Persia. It was fun wielding a light saber but man am I not good at it. I played at Jedi Knight and struggled during some boss fights with only my ego keeping me from switching to Story difficulty, and the fear that I'd probably still struggle at it. Initially I wasn't a fan of all the backtracking, as it felt like it added a few hours to the gameplay without adding much new, but by the end I didn't mind i...

Unsinkable cut scenes, Lame Combat, Unlikable characters, dint like it from the start, just becouse had to sit and listen to some boring plot while in between doing assasin creed jumping in preset environment. Jedi Academy was peak, they should learn from it

Game is packed with action with well crafted animations and music. Story and characters are generic, neighter good nor terrible. Despite mediocre story it's a good adventure however... I dont recommend game because of: - stupid save system (only in specified places, manualy triggered, far from bosses, mob respawn) - it's trying to be challenging but is annoying. I've played whole game on story mode because of it. - EA malware app!!! (this apps are single reason to punish publisher with down vote) - it crashes sometimes (because of UEVR mod but still)

I kept feeling like a monkey put on a superartificial obstacle course with randomly placed enemies. This team has completely abandoned any attempts at immersive level design, and even though it's fun in its own way, it doesn't work for me at all.
