A fast paced, arcade like game that is a blend of the old school bomberman and fast paced arcade games. You need to be quick witted to manage to finish the carefully crafted stages that compose the solo campaign. These are quite unforgiving, but you want to retry as soon as you fail to try another strategy. That reminds me of the old arcades days when you wanted to put another coin as soon as you failed to try again The "wall of death" that slowly catch up to you force you to think quickly, which make what could be a slow paced game-play a frantic loop where you need to carefully consider what you'll do next. Really great game
Won the local tornament against my friends, I cooked them so hard they bought the game in order to cook me back but I'm OD so I know they won't. Anyway great game with fun mechanics, the fun kicks in as soon as the game starts and it's easy to pick up ! If you love Bomberman this game will definitely works its magic for you.
I did a First to 50 against a friend during the playtest Lost 6 - 50 Time to train now
Great level design, this game is typically "easy to learn, hard to master". The various game modes offer as many experiences : solo adventure, infinite mode for retro puzzle game enthusiats. The game is crazy when played with a friend, local or online mode. Given the generous content and the quality of the well crafted game design, Pathblasters is a must-have bargain.
It's a neat, frantic little game! It definitely starts out easy [almost boring], but the difficulty starts ramping up as you go through the game (currently working through the main adventure mode)!
Great game, super satisfying to solve puzzles that clear the screen, and blast your way out. They can be hard at first try but make you feel super smart when figured out. The short levels and high walk speed allow for a frantic rythm that makes the game feel like a MeatBoyish die and retry where you push blocks and place bombs rather than jumping. Clever level design that never stops surprising you, keeping the interest up. Final note 4/5, would be 5/5 if available on PS Vita
Lamp oil. Rope? BOMBS? You want it? It's yours, my friend, as long as you have enough rubies. But actually only bombs, and they are free
Ouai
Mostly played during playtests. An arcade inspired puzzle action game. It's fast, it's fun and competitive. Solo modes were added since playtest, which is a good suprise.
