About This Game

Freeze Time. Throw Swords. Save Tamaris.

The Ambassador: Fractured Timelines is a twin-stick fantasy shooter centered around the ability to stop time. You’ll play as Gregor, a newly recruited member of the Eternal Fellowship, and an Ambassador of Time. Just as you are learning to use your newfound powers, the Fellowship’s capital city is mysteriously destroyed! As one of the only remaining fellows, you must find those responsible and return Tamaris to its former glory.

The Ambassador features:
  • Fast paced, strategic combat designed to stretch your time-stopping abilities.
  • A vast world composed of fortresses, tall mountains, dense forests, and the smoldering remains of Tamaris.
  • An action-packed campaign spanning five unique environments, two timelines, and 55 levels.
  • An armory of weapons, magic trinkets, and armor, all more unique than the last.
  • 20 hidden journals containing the history of the realm.
  • Tough as nails Horde Mode after completion of the campaign
  • Multiple difficulty settings ranging from easy and accessible to head-smashing-into-desk mode!

To anyone wanting to play this game but worried about the difficulty being too high: The "assisted mode" is a great way to play though all the content without being frustrated by particularly difficult levels. If you're not great at pure action game but still want to experience The Ambassador because you think the art style or time ability is awesome, don't worry there's a mode for you! This is how I've chosen to play the game. To anyone wanting to play this game but worried about the difficulty being too low: There's a hard mode available after finishing the game on standard and each map has a challenge time to beat that is going to take some serious skill to beat. I don't think there's a lot to worry about if you want a challenge.

This is just such a simplistic game, I don't see why it's rated so highly.. and it costs $15 to top it off?! The combat is boring and repetitive. The gameplay doesn't seem to go anywhere special. For a game from 2020 this is unacceptable for me. The loop is literally "Here are some enemies, go chase them all and click with your mouse on them". "You finished it. Here is the next level.". "Do this a few more times until you get to the boss". "Click on the boss when the red sword comes up". "Rinse and repeat". Yea, no thanks.

Incredible feeling game. Unique time stopping mechanic and a wonderful art style. You can tell the designers had a very clear idea of what they want the lore and art to look like. Loved it!

I would highly recommend this game. The art, the gameplay, the level design, the music, the lore all blend together for an immersive experience. I'm only a little ways in and I'm hooked. Each level brings challenges that allow for unique and satisfying use of the time-stop mechanic.

Great Game! Unique and fun story line with easy to play basics. The Game is easy to understand and play through but challenging to master. This game is a must play at this price. the 8 bit gives you a throw back feel and the vibes on this game are honestly just great. I sat down to play the 1st level and played for 2 hours straight! AMAZING!

This was an interesting game for sure. At the time of this writing I've finished the first set of levels through the first portal and I think the game is good. The art feels clean, and everything is easy to identify. Once you grasp the concept of weapon throwing and time stopping it's a matter of mastering those skills in tandem as the levels become progressively challenging. As you progress through the levels you will find new armor and weapons which also change the gameplay significantly, so you can pick which best fit your style. The first few levels I felt like I had it under control and then the game ramped up in difficulty in a very fun and challenging way which made me want to keep playing. The game has a standard mode as well as an assist mode and a hard mode available after your first run through. Each level of the game also has mini completion goals to aim for, such as time trials, no damage runs, no healing runs, or finding all collectibles. If you're interested in twin...

This game is a wonderfully crafted fantasy game. The combat and challenges become more difficult as you progress and you get items that completely change the way the game is played. The bosses are challenging and you feel rewarded after finally beating them. The time stop mechanic is one of the coolest time-based abilities I've seen that does't make your character brokenly powerful. 10/10 you will die, and enjoy doing it.

Very fun game. Intruiging storyline and good mix of enemy and weapon types. I'm not the best at these type of games, so I am dying a lot, but still enjoying level of difficulty overall. Will be sure to update review as I get further along, but for now I am very happy with this purchase.

TinyDino Games created a gem with this game. The Ambassador: Fractured Timeline is a fun and well executed twin-stick shooter! The game gives me huge Binding of Isaac vibes while feeling like its own game. The controls are very responsive! You also have these small details that make a big difference when it comes to gameplay! Some of these small details can be the way that each weapon handles. You can have a weapon that you can throw and can comeback at fast speeds but not able to use it in certain situations that the hammer, you also can have a hammer where you have to run to where it is to pick it up. While they both are different in speed and power, they can also serve alot more purpose. The Sword that can come back after throwing it can't break the crates, wasting your mana, but that same hammer can break those crates. The play style can be switched for each scenario. The story, while I have not finished it, is a good catalyst to get you into the action. The layout of each map is a...
