Fun Game! Good game to play when you have some free time, as the level are nice and small.
2.3 hours to 100% this game. That means rounded up is 91p an hour of game play. Better than most AAA games prices. Wanted to give it its first down vote to even out the scores but I actually enjoyed it too much damn you
So the developer is my friend so I may be biased - but since I paid for this game (no freebie Mim?!) I think its more than fair to leave a review. Its a good game with some fun challenges, it really opens up once the 3d element kicks in! So many levels! Lots of fun for a few quid! Maxes out at 48 fps on my 1080ti must be those mad textures, so I miss those sweet FPS when my Nuvavult falls to its death.
NUVAVULT is a stimulating puzzle game with a delightful central mechanic and a few surprises.
Positive Points

It isn't too difficult: I was stumped a few times (a good puzzle game should stump you occasionally!) but most puzzles were fairly straightforward while being clever enough to please.
There are some fun secrets: Certain early level collectables, for instance, look completely unreachable, then the game changes and you go "ah ha!".
It doesn't wear out its welcome: It took me about 2 1/2 hours to get 100% and I'm quite satisfied with the length.
It opens up in the second half: There was a bit of a surprise about half way through that changes the game significantly, and in a good way.
Until about half way, rotating the level, collapsing into 2D, and expanding into 3D are done by interacting with blocks in the game world. After the half way mark you gain the ability to do these things at will.

Critiques

The ...
great game, fun mechanics
Looked kinda neat, but the janky controls and horrid platforming made me tap out quick. In need of UI overhaul.
Focused and nicely crafted puzzler. Starts simplistic with 2D puzzles, but introduces some interesting nuance with 3D puzzles after about 15 minutes. Great value at the price point requested, and judging from other reviews it doesn't overstay its welcome.
This game should really be played and reviewed by more people. It's really creative and a total steal for the price. Wonderful work and I hope the developer keeps making more games! (And invests in some PR or something!)
Pros: - Fun & Challenging - Easy to control - Has a nice atmosphere - Cheap - By the time you finish this game, your brain will have grown so big that it won't fit inside your head Cons: - 4th Dimension missing, tut tut
