Scraper: Gauntlet

This game has really satisfying combat with a cool story wrapped around it. What more could you want at this launch price?? Nice challenge too, your not going to get your hand held through this one! Just got my butt kicked by the first boss, which is kind of refreshing with a VR game.

This a a great game and good value if you are looking for fast paced, easy to pick up VR experience. Super quick action and tons of cools mods for the weapons that keep play interesting while you go through wave after wave of different robots and environments. I really like how each level and opponent pushes you to try different strategies and weapon combinations to be successful. Lots of replay value! Great graphics and sounds and excellent performance on my Rift.

Saw the review on vrfocus and decided to give it a shot. Really fun shooter. It's a great workout if you add in some dodging and weaving to the game play.

An action rogue-like that excels at everything it aims for. It almost feels like playing arcade Time Crisis, but with the enemy team tactics and modifiers turning each room into a little combat puzzle. That said, I think they're going to need more variety to keep people grinding in the endgame. Waiting to hear about updates!

Wow the game is actually really cool I loved scraper first strike, and was a bit disappointed that scraper gauntlet wasnt the episode 2 and is a wave shooter, however ive got to give it to to guys- its so smooth and crisp, i love the gameplay and progression is really cool too. Its your second great game, i dont know why the games you put out are not super popular because they should be.

Glorious, complex, satisfying combat from start to finish. And very cool weapons, all 12 (!) of them. Which is high praise coming from a Destiny fan.

5 minutes in I was -dual wielding missiles launchers -force throwing a bot into a wall then force-throwing that bots weapon at another bot -reflecting sniper shots back with my shields for 360 no scope headshot criticals 5 hours in I'm doing so much more, but the fundamentals are just as fun

Here's an RPG shooter that still requires a lot of skill. A lot of games in the genre boil down to you vs the enemy stats as the level goes up. In Scraper, with smart use of crowd control and shields, you can turn a bad situation with tanky enemies into a cakewalk. I wish they would do a little more with the different pathways through levels, but moment to moment, the weapons are very fun and you are constantly challenged to rethink your tactics. The no 'ring out' rule at post-game level 7 made me LOL. All in all I think it's the first good VR action game this year.

Good graphics and love the ability to customize your weapon. AI is pretty decent as well.

Beat the game, it was fun to play through. I would not pay full price, but fun game if you catch on sale.
