This is probably my new favorite game, and I've played a lot of titles in the "twin stick action" genre. The style and visuals are great, hitboxes are where they should be, and the difficulty scaling is appropriate, although I can see the first few levels being really annoying; I hope there's a Glitch to skip the first 10 levels or increase difficulty from the start. The beginning ramp-up in these games is what gets me and others to lose interest.

Fantastic old school twin sticker. Quick to pick up and a ton of fun to watch those meters go up.

To sum it up, Glitchangels is a highly addictive twin stick shooter. The retro graphics really shine too giving an old style tv monitor type effects. However, that is only part of the story. Many elements are unlocked only after you play for a while. For example, there is a goldrush level (indestructible enemies; try to grab all the gold and exit) that only appears after you kill a certain number of enemies. Also a bonus assault level that you try to kill a certain number of enemies in an open room without dying. Another "feature" is turrets. Turrets appear also after you kill a certain level of enemies. They even start to appear on the first level. This essentially means that the game changes everything after you play it for a while. After 10 hours of gameplay, I know that I have only scratched the surface and I enjoy the new things as they arrive. Also after that time in game, it can still kill me on the first level. I look forward to the new unlocks. GLITCHANGELS WORKS GREAT ON...

The game has some interesting ideas, but it does not come together to create a very interesting or fun game. -The corridor map generation and line of sight mechanic is just awkward and doesn't fit the genre this game is trying to fit in at all. All it leads to is awkward down time while trying to track down the enemy's remaining on the map. It also removes all sense of urgency when you can just stand back and slowly kite and clear every stage with little threat. -the death/rewind mechanic is an interesting gimmick, but again it doesn't fit this style of game and just creates an awkward pause in the gameplay without much benefit. -The game progression/difficulty is insanely slow. It might get interesting later on, but 30 minutes in and it felt like I was still in the tutorial. -visual clarity is extremely bad as soon as the game gets even slightly action packed, I can't imagine how bad it might get later on. This is a combination of many small things including color pallete, backgro...

Its a great retro game, an homage to robotron 2084 and more. The control are great and the dificulty and the achivements make of it all an extraordinarie game. One you must have for adrenaiine needs. You played and then you could keep on going on whatever everyday life issues you're facing. I t could be as shor of as large as you wish you, but puts you in the right mood.
