About This Game

"Welcome to your battlefield."

You are an Outer, a new breed of human being that appeared in the aftermath of the Moonfall calamity. As a mercenary for the Orbital organization, you are on the front line of a desperate war for humanity's survival against the Immortals—corrupted AIs that have rebelled against their human creators. Piloting a fully customizable mech known as an Arsenal, you must team up with mercenaries like yourself and complete missions to defeat the Immortals once and for all. But be careful—in a war fought by mercenaries, today's allies can become tomorrow's enemies.

From the visionary minds of Kenichiro Tsukuda and trailblazing mech designer Shoji Kawamori comes a new generation of high-speed mech action combat.

For people looking to buy this game now in 2025 since the sequel is coming very soon: Compared to Armored core 6: -This game focuses more on aerial combat (Yes. You can fly indefinitely). -You get to redivert energy to your boosters, arms, or shields plus you get a mirage system. -You can actually leave the mech and fight as a "human". -Music's pretty good imo -Giant bosses tend to usually be much bigger as compared to AC6. -Has a good number of characters which have faces/body models and while a good number of them seem like the typical anime tropes, they do tend to grow on you as you keep pushing through the story. -Cool mech designs, though it might suck for those who are looking for tank treads or spider legs since there are none in this game. -ICE CREAM

its a short game not very in depth (atleast for the story progression and from what i can tell theres no real endgame beyond the same bosses with more health in online) its very much a mech action game, thats exactly what it says it is and thats exactly what youll get, big mech fighting. it does it *mostly* well, ranged combat is great until you fight other mechs and melee sucks on anything that isnt the final boss or another mech. the mission quality is pretty good if a little repetitive until A rank where it just devolves to absolute nonsense and fighting basically everyone atleast once in an unfair field until your sent into the longest hallway to ever hallway before the most bullshit boss fight of your life that you can cheese but just bringing a sword, just melee spam and it literally cannot hit you. overall a solid 7/10 above average experience that you can tell needed way more budget for what it was supposed to be. if you like mechs and have nothing else this is worth it, i...

It's not particularly good or particularly fun. I would recommend you just play Armored Core instead. The story is nigh unintelligible even if you care enough to pay attention. You have to grind to unlock parts but drops seem to be somewhat of a hassle to get a particular one. there is a system where you can get out of your mech while in mission but I can't fathom why you would ever want to do that. I'm cautiously optimistic for the sequel but it seems like its an action rpg with your mech suit on a meter???? Despite that insane decision I hope the systems they introduce have some actual meat to them, because a lot of the systems in this game don't. Outers are useless, the ice cream shop doesn't particularly matter and is completely ignorable, The partner feature is disabled for a majority of the story missions, and the shop barely has anything for sale unless you grind fore it (and therefore already have it). If you like mech games AND have run out of mech games to play AND this game ...

The game's fun and badass but Grief makes me want to snort concrete powder and drink water after. He is too fast, too strong and so annoying to hit without kamakazeing into him. There's being a difficult and punishing final boss and then there's grief whipping around like sonic with ADHD on crack drinking 50 redbulls.

DAEMON X MACHINA thrusts players into a high-octane, mech-powered action world where intense combat meets stylish customization. Developed by Marvelous and First Studio, this game combines fast-paced third-person shooter mechanics with the thrill of piloting heavily armed mechs known as Arsenals. Its unique blend of arcade-style action and deep customization sets it apart in the mech genre, offering a satisfying experience for both casual players and enthusiasts of robotic warfare. The core gameplay revolves around taking on a variety of missions that require players to engage waves of robotic enemies, colossal bosses, and rival mercenaries. Combat is dynamic and fluid, emphasizing mobility, precision, and tactical weapon use. Players can dash, boost, and use a wide array of weapons including rifles, rocket launchers, and melee tools to outmaneuver and overpower foes. The balance between ranged and close-quarters combat keeps encounters fresh and exciting, while the fast pace demands ...

It reminds me of those old arcade space shooter games but with mechs instead. You fly around and kill hordes of fairly weak robots that if not addressed will overwhelm you and then you have a few huge strong robots, or mech enemies sprinkled into the mix that feel almost like a robot vs robot match. The story is there but it isn't compelling at all. One thing I love about mecha games is that you can always customize your mecha but in this game you can also customize your mecha pilot. There is a whole upgrade system using cybernetics which affects your appearance significantly. Soon as I realized that I swore off of it but it does make the game harder but on the flipside you have significantly more money to upgrade your mechs if you do. There is also a decent variety in weapons. You can kinda build your mech the way you want and be a fast sniper, or a slow tanky dude firing bazookas and cannons and swinging a mace. All in all, you can play how you want and look how you want.

Story is... Not the most compelling. Character models look good. can be fun but it's a lil grindy if you wanna get everything. Didn't encounter too many bugs outside the eclipse fights. would say a sale is a good time to buy this. Buy the icecream.
