Rival Stars Horse Racing: Desktop Edition

They heavely prioritize the mobile game. Hardly any updates or events on desktop. Updates like new breeds come out MONTHS after they've been released on mobile. Without any events, the game gets really boring really quick since there's nothing to work on once you bred all needed horses and finished the story quests. Definitely not worth the 40 bucks.

I bought this game out of desperation for a game that had racing and/or cross country and frankly I regret it, and I got it on the best sale its ever been on. Put simply I just do not think this game is very fun. I don't personally care for the racing mechanic, and find myself letting jockeys do it most of the time, though maybe I also wouldn't use jockeys most of the time if the game didnt lock progression behind endless tedious tasks. The game decides when you get to progress and level up, it with-holds progression, breeding better horses, even leveling up behind tedious quests you have to go out of your way to complete. I have had to, multiple times, breed a completely new horse, and then fully train them up to level thirty and up, just to sell them to complete a quest. That isnt fun! Its just pressing buttons to make a number go up so the game will let me progress! I wish that the steeplechase and cross country were more fleshed out, or that their quests contributed to xp and l...

I love this game! I used to play it a lot on mobile but it was so expensive with all the micro-transactions. The desktop version does not have any! <3

This game is so much more fun on pc! You get interesting coat colors, have horse creator, level up fast, have only one currency and don't need to pay for anything else! I severely recommend buying this game when it's in discount, you won't regret it!

Personally, unlike the mobile game, I love that it's a one and done purchase. I also love that they are adding the stuff from mobile onto the desktop version. What I don't like is the fact Richard seems to have such a huge advantage no matter what you do. Create your own horse? Too bad. You're horse is capped far below him. You breed a good horse? Too bad. Still capped far below him. You buy a good horse? TOO BAD. STILL CAPPED SO FAR BELOW THAT HE HAS SUCH AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE.
