Actually, I found this game to be quite entertaining. True, it did kind of remind me of some of the older computer games I've played (and I started out on a RS Mod I with 4k - yes you read that right 4k total memory). It was a good strategy game, without all the fancy graphics of many of today's games. However, for the price I think it was very good. The graphics of the ships are not great but they are not bad either - again thinking about the price point. I thought it was pretty easy to figure out what was going on for the parts of the game that was not thoroughly explained. Again, no big deal. For a beginning gamer who likes WWII Naval battles, this game would be a good addition, especially for someone who does not have a high end graphics card or machine. It is much more than a simple game of battleship. You have to know what units can detect enemy subs and protect your BBs and CVs. You also need some CVs with long range bombers to take out land aircraft. For some games you can bui...

User Reviews
Unfortunately the game is buggy and I have not had a reply from the listed email for reporting the bugs. The error messages are all seem to be in Czech.
This is a really bad game. Not only is there no attempt to have any sort of historical realism, but the scenarios are hopelessly unbalanced and there's no difficulty setting. Winning a scenario on the first try is simply impossible and even on the twentieth try is still ridiculously difficult. This is the classic game "Battleship's" mutant child and it's really ugly.
Easy to learn, hard to master. Kind of like Battleship the board game in a way. You have to be very lucky in some ways to discover the enemy units you seek to destroy. Decent game. And for the price... well, you will get hours out of it.
Great Edutainment! Learn the different stages and actual maps of the Pacific War, and the actual ships involved. Air strikes do not get shot down in-air, but that's not the point. The point is the maps, the order of battle, and learning of why such large and diverse fleet configs and radar / detection were so necessary and hard during WW II. I'm using this to familiarize the Battle of Leyte Gulf, which is key to a story about my GrandUncle Lt Gen Macario Peralta, who was 2nd in Command under MacArthur. The sinking of the Japanese mega-Battleships Yamato and Mushashi (largest ever built) was largely made possible due to him and his Resistance Network, w cyphered comms. Use this for the maps and order of battle, and other games for RTS cutscenes of subs and torpedoes.
Those SUBMARINES u need to try it
is gud game
Very interesting to buy appropriate units and upgrades depending on each mission, you would quickly surpass the enemy. But it gets boring not to see any Japanese ship's image. Please update Japanese carriers instead of using the same icon for US and IJN carriers.
Nicely challenging, many variations, easy to learn!
