F.e.a.r. on roids. Super smooth gameplay, no hiccups or fps drops. Using UE4, no terrible UE5 isues. That makes me happy. Just buy it if you loved FEAR and it's copycats from way back in the day.

I gave the game a shot, but I just don't think it's for me. It's really well put together, and I think the gunplay is good and the plot seems interesting, but I don't think the gameplay is my type of thing. I played the three main missions on very hard, and things went between too easy and a bit too much pretty often. The stamina when you aren't killing people always feels too low, and I always feel just a bit sluggish when moving between objectives or when I'm looting an area, looking for a weapon so I can replace one that's out of ammo. I like to be quick, and I think that the game does that really well when in combat, but out of it is just annoying enough to make me hope there's another enemy somewhere soon. It's not even slow to regen, it just feels like there's too little per bar - I can get speed through a slide jump, but all of that's lost because I can't do anything to preserve momentum. I can just slide, but I still drain through stamina quick enough to where I just cant slid...
This is probably one of the most unexpected masterpieces you will ever find. This game is funny, brutal, and scary. you can never predict what will come next or what you will find, its collection of horror levels as well as just doom-like levels makes this an experience to never make you bored. A really good game, would highly recommend.
Got called someones favourite little psychopath, made me happy after slaughtering 100 men with an LMG while sliding around like a chimp on aderall covered in oil, overall a very fun game. The music slaps so hard
I'm only being so critical because this game has a "Very Positive" rating on steam and I'm baffled as to why after finally getting around to playing it. Trepang is not a bad game, but it gets in its own way at every turn, preventing it from being a good game. It wants to be doom, FEAR, and soldier of fortune all at once but fails to understand what made any of these games good experiences. We'll start with the only redeeming thing about this game which is its gunplay. The guns have some weight to them, the blood/gore is fun, ridiculously over-the-top sound design (literally clipping audio for gunfire), and chaotic encounters. The game was actually fun when it allows you to get into a flow state and tune the bullet time to your liking. But it falls entirely flat with the pacing, only allowing for rare moments of this. Ammo is scarce, forcing you to ignore the 12 enemies firing at you from all angles while you find a weak SMG to finish the fight. While you're looking for ammo, your spr...
this is one of if not the best FPS games i have played the story is interesting and the game play is so much fun it is perfect for my ADD riddled brain because everything moves so fast
It's just pure fun. It's 100% inspired by F.E.A.R. and makes no attempt at hiding it and I'm all for it. It's all here : the gunplay, the slowmo, the enemy chatter, the horror, etc. The ONE gripe I have with the game so far, however, that has stopped me from just... finishing the game right away, and has had me put it in the shelf, so to speak, for months now... is the HUB. Why the HELL did this game need a HUB? What was great about FEAR wasn't just the gameplay itself and the horror. It was that it just KEPT. GOING. It was linear, and it didn't need to be anything else. You're just "go, go, go" all the time. And it's great! Finish a level? On with the next one. You wanna take a break? Save, and whenever you're ready you're back where you're left off. Off you go, champ. With Trepang² instead, it's like... "good job, woah, you sure did good on that last mission... you're such a special boy. Back to the house now. Take a breather, you're safe here. Resupply, change your clothes, oh...
just finished the campaign. this game F*CKS so hard. this game is the guy your girlfriend tells you not to worry about and you are battlefield 2042. stop reading reviews and buy the gamme
I'm giving this game a Positive review only because I just want them to succeed and not get worse reviews. The game looks great and has some awesome sections, my main issue is personal. Don't fall for the "It's Doom Eternal but you're not in hell" bait. It's not actually like Doom Eternal. It feels... Off? In my very subjective opinion. It's good, just not for me. Still, recommend if you like shooters.
buen juego, relajante, para pasar el tiempo haciendo misiones sencillas, con mecanicas sencillas y faciles de dominar le doy un 8/10 porque para mi gusto, me gustaria que los enemigos gritaran mas al momento de matarlos.
