Killer Gin is a "coming of age" tale of Shinata (a "Gin" who has not reached her full potential yet). Various factions push for control and you can aide or confront either faction. I have not played through the whole game yet but I think what I've seen so far has me excited about what it has to offer further. Pros: -Lots of Characters -Many in-game choices -Homestead for growing your faction -Good re-play value because of branching story-arcs -Full voice-overs -Good story -Decent Music Cons: -Confusing skill layout (too many skills in the beginning, confusing as to how to use them strategically) -Map design is mediocre -Too many side-quests in the beginning, feels overwhelming/too confusing (but it grows on you) -Sometimes too much choice can be overwhelming. I will continue to play the game and find out what else this game has to offer.

I have loved what I have played so far, I am very excited about the full release of the game! Extremely happy that there is going to be a cross over with Star Shift. Both games compliment each well in terms of their mechanics and the dev for this game is very approachable and lets me know when there are new updates available. Play this game and let the small studios that do this have some of the limelight! Amazing effort from all involved. Keep up the hard work, I appreciate it. The empress ;)

For a RPG-Maker game this ist top class. As other reviews already stated, there are SO many features implemented. A lot of love and work has been put into this game.

Well let's see. You have a top down RPG with a full relation system implemented, multiple optional characters along with a 'Octopath' style weakness system. So at this point you have an average RPG. Then factor in you have a weather system, stealth system, stat customization system, skill growth system including non standard RPG mechanics like cooking, fishing, lock picking, and way more, I haven't been able to go a single screen without finding a hidden item or wonderful reference. Then we have to talk about 3 faction system and all of the side quests., and that is all before talking about the infinite dungeon and homestead which is going to be effectively it's own game. So yeah I'd it's really ambitious and frankly unlike anything i've ever played before in a really good way (not to mention the phenomenal voice acting! Shinata, Shin, the Narrator, and Gordo are standouts). Honestly at some point I'm going to help test the game thoroughly and i will create a list of everything just so you c...

One thing is for certain : This game has the most features I've seen implemented in a RPGmaker game both in and out of combat.

Miserably boring and annoying. Combat is regular RPGMaker fare, and even story mode does not let you skip the tedium. Even some Kagura games have better gameplay mechanics.

It's got the best lighting effects I've ever seen. The voice acting is good. There are so many features. Looks like there's even homesteading and dating. It'l take me a long time to unpack everything packed into this game. It's well made and I'm liking it so far.
