I was honestly excited when steam gave me the notification that this game was released. It looked wholesome and cute in the store (CATS) so I got it with some hope for it to be an actual RPG... However there is no such thing as narrative or story in this game, it's a walking cat simulator in which you spend your time moving around to find collectibles and customize your kitten. Don't get me wrong, this is a good game if you just want to chill to some jazzy tunes and a flash quality game. Beautiful graphics, great potential... Lacks something to make it feel less.... empty.

It's a VERY short game. It's cute and wholesome- best for people who want a short game to tune out and relax. The music is nice and the simplistic art is easy on your eyes. However, there are still a few problems that may just be my lack of attention. There are no instructions, which is fine for me but it took me a bunch of button pressing to figure out what does what. There are also a bit of pathway glitches where my cat started falling through the floor at the end of pathways (and sometimes I can see through the floor). From the looks of it, it's so simplistic that it almost feels too short and unfinished. The levels are sort of bare, but that could be the point of the game. It's kind weird to control Yew (The cat) when there are multiple pathways, I feel like the cat isn't always following my directions while using the keyboard to control. The main point of the game is perfect. you collect. The cat you play as collects things perfectly. Personally, I feel like there should be more f...
I wanted to love this game The art style and animation is so beautiful and smooth, it's what drew me to the game in the first place. I really wanted this game to be good. The atmosphere is calming and magical, the assets are an interesting combination of 3D models and 2D scrap book styled and that's about all that's good about this game. The actual gamey part was like a 3 dimensional platformer without enemies, obstacles, jumping or puzzles. At first it was interesting that each time you played a level it seemed to be randomly generated, but by only the third play through it became obvious that it was the same five rooms just put in a different order. At times it feels like there is a puzzle, some sort of secret path, but there isn't just loops and dead ends. The reward for playing through the levels has very little value as a player. The accessories and skins are fun, unique and beautiful but there is no incentive to get them. No progression, no story line or achievements. Playin...
I was so happy to purchase this game today, on opening day, and even got it 15% off! I would easily have paid much more for this game, however, with the amount of joy I had while playing it! The animations are SPOT ON for cat behavior, and each skin is so unique! The Art is so beautiful with very striking colors! The gameplay isn't difficult, and the music is so nice and calming! My community had the best time watching me play, and I can't wait to see more! I played it for over 8 hours in my first sitting, and can't wait to play again! I used a PS4 controller, and had almost no issues (there was only one section of pathway that my cat got stuck on, but I was able to get out after just a few moments!) Well done, ManaTea, this game is wonderful!
Love the art! Costumes are very cute and I love playing as a cat! I think there could be more to do though. Your cat is kind of on rails and can really only go left or right. Some free movement would be nice or platforming. Even just a button to let you run. Seems like it could be a very chill game but I found the controls limited and movement a bit frustrating. Was hard to really get into it but hope to see more from this studio because the style and idea is really great!
Is very cute and chill. Has some bugs but they don't affect the game that much. If u like cats then this is worth getting when it's on sale
I really enjoy the premise of this game... but once I realized there were only 3 areas I felt disappointed. Quickly one realizes that many of the cat skins are repetitive (no different body types), and many of the new rooms one unlocks are fairly shallow. For what is there.. I like the art style and dressing up my cats but I felt like the content became repetitive within 1 hour of gameplay.
Very nice little game. Love the graphics and music! Use arrow keys to move! I tried moving with mouse clicks first and found it a bit glitchy, no problems when using arrow keys.
Nice little relaxing casual game from an Aussie indie developer.
Very pretty game with beautiul art and music. I saw these guys at PAX AUS 2019. If you want something short and sweet to just relax and vibe out too, this is it. Plus, there's many adorable cattos :]
