🥊 Punch Club 2: Fast Forward - Knockout Sequel Fun!
What I Played: I dove into this for a solid chunk of time, training my fighter and climbing the ranks in the fighting scene. The story had me hooked with its surprises and twists. The Good:

I enjoyed the nostalgic vibes this game gives off; it's like stepping back into the good ol' days of punch-'em-up games.
The hidden pathways in the story added that extra layer of intrigue, keeping me on my toes and excited to see what was next.
The Bad:

At times, I felt the need for a bit more variety in combat styles to really keep things fresh.
Some of the routines started feeling a bit repetitive, but the thrill of watching my fighter kick butt outweighed this minor gripe. About the Game

You've spent 20 long years living in the confines of your overbearing mother's garage. Your father mysteriously vanished before you were born. But hey, you've had plenty of time to work out and dream about the wonders of the world. Sucks to be you though. People eat slime, corruption is rife, and everyone wants to fight you... But maybe if you can find your father and become the 'Dark Fist' people whisper about, somehow you could actually be humanity's savior, and the one who uncovers the super-secret secrets of the Good Corporation... Or not. It's a choose your own adventure. Stay in the garage if you want.

Back when things weren't so cyberpunk, a nameless cool guy rose from the streets, punched out the big and bad, found his father and it was all good. Welcome to the future. It's corrupt, we use sea shells instead of toilet paper, and everything is cyberpunk now. The streets are familiar, but now there's lots of neon. Dive into an adventure filled with hilarity, 80’s nostalgia, and punching. Even more punching than before!

Punch, kick, or even cheat your way through if that's your style. Becoming the best damn fighter aint easy. It takes time, training, dedication, and dollars! Build up your stats and techniques, plan your match and create your own incredibly awesome school of fighting! Sounds better than losing and everyone laughing at you, right? While nothing beats good old-fashioned blood, sweat and tears, neuro training and illegal software sure sound tempting. And only a minor risk you’ll be exposed as a fraud right before your last brain cell packs up and leaves.

Life in the rat race is fast-paced, time-consuming, and requires effective management to survive. Just like Punch Club 2! It’s literally a simulation game! Manage your time and funds, while you climb the ranks of the fight leagues. Meanwhile you'll have to find work, either for the police, the mob, the mafia, or just about anyone else you cross paths with. Completing quests will give you access to new fighting schools and moves, dollars, good person points and even the Lion Queen on VHS! Stop reading the Steam page and get grinding!
The first rule of Punch Club -- tell everyone about Punch Club! Wishlist it now, or prepare to fight (for legal reasons, we won’t actually fight you).

Lots of great gameplay with endless nostalgia capped off with a horrible, convoluted, boring slog of text droning on into a truly heartless ending. The last few hours of this took the game from a 5/5 for me to a 1/5. I feel terrible discrediting such a great work because of its awful last 297 chapters. If you like the way Dexter or Game Of Thrones ended, maybe this game is for you.
Big fan on the first game. I tried so hard to get into this game as well, but this has just too many things you have to do which I think is not relating to the "fight club" things, it slowly turn into the chore you have to do before get to enjoy the core game. The futuristic style is a nice try, but imo not a good fit to the game. I really prefer the vibe from the first game . I tried very hard to finish the game, but it getting into a stage that has way too many chore.
This game was so much more fun than the first game. It has a lot of small funny dialogue and a lot of cool song and movie references in the game. A lot of throw backs to the first game which will confuse people who haven't played it but this was a very fun game and i would play it again. The DLC bugged for me and which didnt let me train my robot which sucks and i havent found a fix for that soon. But overall this game is a must to play if you like 2d retro games Rip dad
It was okay... I would rather have a Graveyard Keeper 2.
Great sequel to the original. They really elevated the art, gameplay and storyline (and also the ungodly amount of pop culture references in this never seems to end). Some parts gets a bit frustrating and repetitive, but overall great experience.
try it
The power system seems off, no matter how big the power gap between me and the opponent is, it feels like I'll most likely lose (might be a skill issue lol). It feels incredibly repetitive and that I'm not getting anywhere. The visuals and style seem like a fun idea, but I just don't feel like the games for me.
Way worse than the first game. The skills all feel the same, and the story isn’t engaging—plus it’s really short. There’s no sense of time pressure in the gameplay either. And to top it off… the bus can be free. OMG
