Game-play
As a visual novel, this game involves a lot of mashing through text boxes. Don't expect anything action-packed. Before starting the game, make sure to check your "Preferences" from the title-screen. When I first started the game, the difficulty was set to "hard". You will need to create a character before enjoying the game's content, which starts with a species. I picked "human", because I didn't want to ...

This game is not worth your time and money, at least not yet. Sure it is alpha and stuff, but still you would expect it to be in better shape than this when it´s being sold. Story (if you can call it that yet) is unfinished and ends abruptly so it leads to nothing, maybe someday. Dialog is very clumsy, english is at times very bad, there are some typos, there are moments when character name is not there, but a placeholder for a name, skill points don´t seem to matter at times, for example physical training (running) is at 13 (I guess as high as can be), still you will fail any other than the easiest training. Training weekly schedule seems to be a bit random, you get strange points from a training field that doesn´t seem to fit the criteria, you get to see the same stuff (computer & simulation) all over and over again. Action and effect logic seems to be off a lot of the time. Someone wants to start dating you, everything´s good, next time you meet that person, flirt, not interes...
At the moment I can't reccomend this. Way too many bugs, crashes, etc. Needs an immense amount of work to be enjoyable.
I think this is going to be a great game as it will be built up to 200 hrs like GP so I am in. it has so many different ways to go I do not know next choice of crew member to go, or what study. I will try them all.
I am sad about writing a negative review, but I don't see any other way. I won't recommend this game. I played it on early stage, I played it some months ago and I started to play today. The same mistakes, the same bugs, the same problems.. But the most serious problem is that I cannot even finish the game. In the seventh week, I played as Security. And I died three times in one exact place, no matter what I was doing (although the message says "you win the fight"). After that, I tried to play as Command. And I've got error messages. It seems like the game wasn't ready enough and needs a lot of improving. P.S. I tried to get past the error by choosing Counselor path. Yep, it works. Yet, the game is full of bugs. All romances (especially this one with MKrell) don't work.
It's not worth buying this game atm, you cannot load save games. I played a lot of General Practitioner so i assume this will eventually be a good game. i should point out that because you cannot load save games i did not play much, absolutely pointless for me to attempt it, however the talk of pronouns and what she/her prefers to be called at the start is making me wary of my purchase, if you are inclined, as i am, to avoid......agendas.....then caveat emptor.
Ok as you can see I have played this game for 2.6 hours so just one play through however having said that this game has great potential, it would be advisable to ignore the negative reviews where said gamer states "errr gameplay only lasts 2 hours" those individuals do not understand the concept of early access on the store page its clearly written "EARLY ACCESS GAME" This game reminds me of Mass effect series but of course its a visual story, as for gameplay yes you can choose to be one of different kinds of species and this game does have different branching stories, I had no issues playing this on my PC, The basic tutorial was easy enough to follow, I thought Devs and or animators have done very well with the graphics. As a gamer I also appreciate the devs providing a demo of the game, This was common in 90's and possibly early 2000's having provided with a demo to be tried before purchase of the game its self, Younger generations need to learn it is a demo and there will be is...
Not worth the 10 bucks. I've played other VN games and this one sucks balls. you want a good VN game with adult content? get Summertime saga it's a WIP but it has a far better story line. there is also Lust Epidemic, another good WIP VN game with a far better story. Yomi Alliance story line is slow and BORING as hell. Ok you are starting in an academy as a student. you must plan out you week. but after that you have little control. during the 7 day week you choose what you are going to do each day, in the morning and also in the evening. some things you can't do on certain days or certain times of day. once you choose your week you click start and the game does everything else, you just click for the next page. maybe after some time this game will grow into something better, but for now it just isn't worth the price. as I was playing I did NOT notice any bugs in the game it ran smoothly. the graphics were not bad, sadly there were NO animations during the game play. I will continue to ...
The game has come out of EA in a unfinished and broken state. The game is full of bugs and missing text, extrem amount of crashes, These are in the class of: art can not be found showing a crash report, mostly in the adult part. missing art are not shown on picture but a grey placeholder. The game often loops back to a previous day in eternity, forcing you to reload a earlier save or as often start a new game. The window used to interact to crewmembers in their quarters has at the beginning a greyed out choice for adult action that should become functional when a relation threashold is met, but then reached it disapear and never comes back so no adult action with the crewmember is possibly. The art is grainy and low res in the school part, do not know after graduation since the crashes stop me from playing further, but strangly sometimes 1 or 2 npc is low res and a 3 is high res and sharp, so the art is mixed. Do not buy at the moment. The game is not ready for full launch by a long...
2 years and the game still has not updated past graduation. Too busy working on General Practitioner to finish this game first apparently. Seems like there is all of 2 people working on this and spending all their money on voice overs. Good story just alot of crashes and no fixes. I held out as long as possible but looks like it will take as long as Starfield to finish this game so I am moving on.
