About the Game

You are an engineer thrust into the strange and mysterious Void, a world with its own history, rules and future. Build and upgrade your own train, craft powerful weapons, fight various enemies and survive the surreal landscapes of the Void alone or together with friends.

EXPLORE THE VOID
Explore a vast ever-changing world full of mysteries and unique places. Discover floating islands with puzzles and dangerous fauna. Make your way through minefields and visit depots. Meet adorable Rofleemo and make them part of your crew. The Void has much to offer for those seeking adventure, so get ready to accept its challenges!

BUILD YOUR TRAIN
You won't simply expand the train, but you'll build it yourself from scratch. Start with an empty trolley and develop it into a proper train with multiple wagons and an advanced engine. Customize the look of your train and fill it with all sorts of objects: from storages and workbenches to decorations and tables for mini games.

FIGHT TO SURVIVE
The Void is a dangerous place, and you’ll face a variety of enemies on your way: from regular soldiers to bloodthirsty sharks. Craft and customize your weapons and equipment, escape from being chased, stand against multiple enemy waves in the arenas, clear outposts and be prepared to constantly fight for your life.

Initial take is that it's neat for what it is. I like the graphics, I absolutely love the intense music, I like the aesthetic, I find it more fun on the surface than most crafting/survival games. However, it's pretty basic so far, which honestly, I like. I personally am not a fan of the bloated crafting systems a lot of these games have. This one keeps it simple. You get wood, you get chunks of metal, you get organic material. The raw metal gets turned into whatever kind of metal you need, then you make a few very basic components if needed (gears, bolts, screws), then make the object you need. Farming materials happens in a roughly 50-60 foot sphere around the train so there's no getting lost in the wilderness try to get the shiny MacGuffin you need to make a 69th level smelter. I'm going to catch some flak for this, but I don't really care. Why the hell was the banner retouched with AI? What was the reason? The old banner was just fine, this "new" one looks soulless and fake. This s...

Combat is terrible. Game copies Raft with the shark mechanic, but the shark can launch attacks into the train. collectors are limited. Gun switching takes an eternity, only for a terrible combat experience to follow. Gameplay just becomes a repetitive loop that is only enjoyable for the first hour at most. Terrible game in general. 1/10.

I don't recommend at it current state. The game superficial ads length to itself by limiting ammo capacity, inventory slots, and making mobs bullet sponges. CONS: The first dozen gates have shown a lack of content. VERY repetitive looking maps with the same script. Inventory management is terrible. The chests and player inventory have far too few slots. The game provides an unoriginal method of upgrading your slot count as a form of "progression". The amount each upgrade is miniscule. There is no exploration. You are tethered to your train only able to venture a dozen meters or so. (Dont worry, there is a miniscule upgrade for this as well...) at the end of each gate is a 'cut and paste' depot where you can fight mobs. Very little story or exploration here and very small maps. Combat is lackluster. Mobs are spongy and unvaried. I'm sure they will get more varied later, but hard mobs in early stages are just boring bullet sponges. (4 clips to the face... so fun!!....) The grand pu...

This game is awful at this state. Most of time there is nothing to explore, since you just need to follow the tracks. Which tend to get boring during Playthrough. Combats are also bad, There are two types of combats, Station combat shoots guns, and Arena combat composed of insects. Station combats are insanely uncomfortable due to insane screen shake whenever you get hit. along with the fact that weapons fire projectiles, this makes gunfights unpleasant and difficult. Arena fights are also unpleasant in the way due to how weapons work. Weapons tend to wear down quickly and jam often. also you can't run whenever you switch weapons or reload(and fixing the malfunctions of your guns), which makes you get hit whether you move or not. Gunsmith mechanics also feels bland, since it only changes stats, ammo types and how it looks. it doesn't change how gun works (like bolt-actions n stuff,), Leading to Demotivation on getting weapon parts. not to mention weapon parts don't display how they eff...

Although the game isn't fully out and there are still many bugs to discover, it is a very fun game. Think of Raft but train, and you dont have to worry about finding coordinates to the story points. Plus there's slot machines, and who doesn't love a little gambling, while in the "endgame" the slot machines won't get you many good things, in the early / mid stages it can get you some decent amounts of the basic crafting items to help you progress. Def better with a friend or two. TL;DR Good game, still has bugs but its fun none the less, gambling, better with friends.

If you have fun with these games where you slowly gather resources and build up your structure and customise to your hearts content then I'm sure you'll like what this game has to offer so far, plus the lil companions are cute, so that's a plus.

Been playing this for a good while now, and so far, it is pretty good for an engineer game. Slow but good progress, modifying on how you want to play on your own pace, and materials are better the further you go. The only issue that I have is on the optimisation of the game, the wind-up animations, and the combat. Those need to be a bit revamped. First is the optimisation, for some reason, every-time I open the game, it starts off good, but when I play it longer, the game somehow starts to lose it's framerate slowly and it gets a little harder to play especially since I'm on a gaming laptop has great specs that can really play it, I literally have to basically restart the game to get the frames back normal again, only to slowly drop again and repeating the cycle. I'm not even sure if it's only me, but hopefully this gets fixed soon. And the combat. To be really honest, it just gets unfair if you are trying to defeat the enemies for both the trials and the depot. Movement and gun ...
