Huge, yet empty game full of promises. Not a single system done fully, a bloat of "perfect game" ideas splashed together. I could've wrote a long review about lack of interesting loot, useless skillpoints, lack of normal, single, item quickslot system or how there is not enough of slots for all magic skill you can get in first 10 hours of gameplay. How enemies are boring, same and easy. How locations are unnecessary huge without any reason, as they are empty - towering churches and castles, probably built by some giants that hated furniture, I could've written a huge statement of my distaste of the overblown annoying overworld that is tedious and too big for what it does, how roaming goblins and bandits just build tiredness as killing them don't really give you anything and sometimes you spawn on a map where you actually need to spent minutes searching for them. No minimap, but there is a completely useless compass. How i don't understand the reason of giving an option to create buildi...

The Bloodline is a highly ambitious open-world action RPG developed by a solo creator under the Shieldbearer Studios banner, and it stands out as one of the more daring Early Access titles available on Steam. At first glance, it might seem like a typical fantasy game—swords, magic, kingdoms on the brink—but it quickly becomes clear that this is something far more layered and player-driven. You step into the role of a Harbinger, the last of a prophetic bloodline with the ability to foresee disastrous events and alter the fate of a world inching toward chaos. Rather than guiding you down a fixed narrative path, the game invites you to forge your own journey across a massive, reactive world where freedom of choice and systemic interaction take center stage. The world of Eudros is vast and built for exploration. Each region you travel through offers a distinct biome, complete with different enemies, towns, dungeons, and environmental storytelling. What’s striking is how the game act...
The game is pretty fun when you don't take the objectives seriously, and it offers quite some freedom in how you want to build your character, as well different methods of traversal and mobility. The game can be classified as a "Medieval" times RPG Fantasy game with magic, bows, swords and hammers and claymores and spears, and staves. As said, there is plenty of abilities, spells, perks and techniques to choose from that make things all the more interesting on what you want to build your character towards, allowing you to mostly build how you want to play the game. The only drawback is that the game does have it's bugs; and some jank here and there - that being the Developer behind the game is developing it solo, which I guess it's a self-teaching experience (also, chill dude on their Discord). Which means, of course, the game updates with new content and eventual bug fixes. This is the kind of game that both in gameplay and in development where you don't take it very seriously and ...
bought expecting co op, didnt read well enough. game is so goated i played solo for 3 hours before i cared. movement is fun, spells a plenty, exploration is good, i will pay for a co op mod if i have to though, genuinely.
Don't bother save your money the game is samey in just about every regard, it uses mostly reused assets you've seen in almost every bloody game at this stage it does nothing new while trying to become a shittier fantasy version of mount and blade, the story is not interesting and the controls and UI elements are not intuitive after buying at launch and holding onto it for a while to see the progress they'll make i have yet again become disappointed and worse bored
the game runs incredibly badly, my computer is by no mean low end, and yet it is near unplayable in some areas, while in others it is struggling and dropping to 30fps max. Contacted the dev about it and got dismissed, and i'm not the first. Do not buy the game until it is fixed.
gud. Needs a few more devs for this to be finished in the next 10 years tho.
Game doesn't support uninstallement save, lost forty hours of progress on it.
I uppercut cows and I also uppercut rabbits
One of the best indie adventure RPG's I've played in a long time, you can feel the love the dev is pouring into it. Sure it's got bugs and glitches, but you wouldn't be looking at EA games if you weren't open to the potential of that and none of the one's I've run into have been game breaking, they're largely graphics related issues and can often be resolved by returning to the overworld map and if not, restarting the game is always a surefire solution. It brings me back to the days of playing Fable, WoW, or Oblivion. Deep and interesting areas to explore, crafting systems to grind at, mini-games for the various crafting and gathering tasks you do, beautiful landscapes and magic to accompany it with both gorgeous and destructive potential, village building and decorating to create the ideal village for your playstyle whether that's creating 4 logging camps to never have to worry about lumber again or just building a village you think looks nice and fits your RP style and best of...
