It's been almost 2 years and the game is still in an unfinished state, with multiple bugs, crashes, the same poor combat system and enemy designs, tedious and unfulfilling grinding for story progression, no in-game mechanic to divorce a spouse, arguably limited decorative options - all of which should have already been implemented or addressed in the game after it left early access. Even after losing all of my save data from Early Access and replaying the game from the start for nothing since the game was more less in the same unfinished state (grinding the mines and ocean floor for the second time was torturous), I still believed in the game's potential and the love that went into setting and characters. But at the end of the day, there's really no excuse for a publisher to sell a clearly incomplete and unstable game to consumers, and I'd ask new potential buyers to rethink if this is a company worth supporting financially.

If I could score the game and not do the Steam’s pass or fail, I’d give it a 6/10 in its current state. The game has great potential. Yes it is a Stardew Valley clone in many aspects but I don’t care about that and I would choose this if it was complete and polished. The world is lovely and vibrant, the character artwork is very nice, the characters themselves are of all sorts of backgrounds and to a point it makes it feel a nice community. There are many things to do and grind your way through, there are mini games and festivals that break the monotony and so on. Unfortunately the story, interactions between the pc and npcs many times feel disconnected and out of order. I wish the story was polished. The “special events” where you are supposed to grow your friendship with that person are many times events where the pc is not even present. This is unfortunately also happening with some romanceable characters. That is the next flaw, once you develop these relationships and t...
This game recently went coop, and my wife said to me, "Hey, let's play this." Now, I love this woman dearly, I'd do anything for her. I'd throw myself into a woodchipper for this woman. I spend my days being the manliest man alive, speaking only in grunts and flexed biceps and my only emotion is vexation. And you know what? I had a great time with this game on its own terms. You ever played Stardew Valley? If you haven't, just skip down a paragraph or so, this won't mean much. If you have, though, this game is so exactly Stardew Valley that if I tried to tell how exactly it is, this review would be really, pointlessly long. Instead, there's some differences: it feels a little more like a real place, with a southeast Asian sort of vibe. Obviously, 3D art assets, polygons instead of pixels. The characters are more... generally credible, represent a far wider range of human personalities. There's also some "diving" but it's really scooting around on a different map with a differen...
In the past two weeks, I played up to mid winter of the first year, finished the mine and ocean clearing quests, and upgraded the museum. The most fun I had was clearing the ocean, and that was only because of how satisfying it is to see it clean. This is an early access game at best. I recommend to wait until they've actually finished the main questline before playing. It's a beautiful but incredibly shallow game, packed to the brim with bugs, crashes, and untested game mechanics. All of the content lacks depth and your choices don't matter. Characters are rude or kind to you or each other for no reason (looking at you, Mark and Millie). What finally made me leave a negative review and quit playing was the lack of impact after cleaning the ocean. Your role is infuriatingly downplayed (they actually say maybe aliens cleaned the ocean and did all that work) and nothing changes but the setting. You still find/fish trash everywhere and now have nothing to do with your upgraded scythe. ...
There were so many things to explore , I have been in the game for over 160 hours and are in the full of the third year, I even have not married yet.
Everything I love in a farming sim with added saving the planet vibes! The art style is cute and it runs really well on both high and low settings. Contrary to steam comment belief, the game IS being updated and the devs haven't abandoned it. The game isn't live service, there are updates in monthly spans rather than every week. I really like where the game is going!
I enjoy discovering treasures and battling monsters.
Multiplayer is a joke. We are in year 2025 and this game itself has been out for 3 actual years and yet they still do not understand how to make a game. I go through 10 levels in the mine without rope or anything. me and my partner save it by sleeping. Boom crash and the day was not saved. I legit said "if the game does not save i'm done playing and giving this game a bad review. Guess what? It did exactly that. I do love this game and it is good but the quality and effort is sad on the devs part and mind you this was not the first problem. Early access 2 years ago my save got "corrupted" lost everything and the devs had no answers but to start a new one. How about you understand a game before you make one. This is not hobby projects as it is not free and on the higher end dollar for cozy games. You all at humble games have made your money just pay someone to actually code multiplayer and quit cheeping out the consumers. We are NOT your Guinea pigs! Just because you can does not me you...
Nearly two full years since release, and its... still not done. There are parts of the game you just can see its not done. I don't mind if they had more stuff they intended to add, but not even finishing the main bit is scummy. Can't really recommend it, despite having played it quite a bit. Buggy updates don't help matters.
Game still managed to be unstable and buggy almost 2 years since full release.
