About This Game

Gage, a retired soldier turned lumberjack living within the forest with his dog Bucky lives a humble life. Hero Of The Forest is turn-based singleplayer RPG and the characters have many unique abilities for the player to choose from. Most players will use a variety of abilities and combine them to defeat enemies, often switching up their strategy depending on the enemy or group they are fighting. You can interact with all of the NPCs in the game and engage in discussions.

A pretty simplistic RPG that only gains a little complexity later on. Even the economy is simplistic as there are few items and only a few chances to buy things (buy early, buy cheap). Gage has to go across many different locales to locate the 8 gems required to save the world. Music is a highlight for this and graphics seem pretty good for RPG Maker fare. It's rather easy and will be done in 2-2.5 hours. Worth it on a sale.
