This is a very story-heavy tactical RPG, with simple but enjoyable enough specifics to keep you engaged. The game shifts between long bouts of story sequences and long bouts of combat sequences at times, so you have to be up for both. The story and world building here are very strong. With all of that said, it makes for a tough recommendation because of all of the anime style creepiness scattered throughout. I've read that the rest of the series removes most of that, so I'm willing to give it a pass, barely.
