Hamster Scramble

(Quick heads up, in terms of playtime, I also have 13.1ish hours on Hamster Scramble Demo, with most of my time being spent playing against others online! ;u;) Hamster Scramble's a pretty fun(ny) take on Puzzle Bobble/bubble shooters, and it all starts with how you get orbs to launch onto the board in the first place! Instead of having a linear queue of orbs to shoot and remaining static on the bottom center of the board to shoot them, there are instead colored hamsters scurrying around that you have to catch in via running and platforming in order to turn them into throwable orbs. You can also reposition yourself as you please to get better shot angles! This alone makes for an interesting time, but it gets better... In multiplayer matches, you can temporarily [i]swap[/i] over to the opponent's side to either attack them (making them drop a hamster if they were holding one), throw orbs onto their board (mainly to block shots or make them top out), and steal their hamsters for yourself...

This game is crazy good. I spent 60+ hours in the demo alone, the online mode and story are amazing, a couple of bugs here and there, but overall the experience is fantastic! Would 100% recommend to anyone who likes puzzle games or competitive games. Appropriate for all ages, and fun for all ages. Amazing art, and fantastic music.

A fun twist on the genre, haven't played a game like this in a long time. Cool to see something new.

I love the concept. It combines match 3 bubble games with a platformer, and has an engaging story throughout, not to mention the online play where you can play with other people around the world!

This game is really fun and refreshing! I havent been this excited and energized about a game in a long time! It is a great blend of genres that surprised me how well they work together. I don't typically play games like this and I felt myself get more confident asI progressed through the story. I highly recommend it!

Hamster Scramble is a ton of fun. It's a competitive puzzle game where you collect hamsters and throw them at a board of other hamsters to match 3. If you match 3, you can make your opponents board of hamsters move closer to breaking. Breaking, being similar to tetris stacking too many blocks pass the top of the screen. In this game it's at the bottom of the screen. The game is really well designed. I've felt it's extremely well balanced and mentally engaging. The game also has a variety of maps with it's unique gimmicks. There's an ice level for example that has slippery physics, and a subway map that has it's own unique gimmick to determine what hamsters spawn. But I won't say anymore since it's technically spoilers. It's great to play with friends, and the games are quick and fun. My favorite hamster is the blue sleepy one :)

Hampter

An interesting take on a familiar puzzle game. The ability to swap to the opponent's side of the board and steal their orbs or mess up their board adds a new dynamic that I've never seen before in these sorts of games.

Love this game, the graphics are adorable and it has an engaging storyline. Fun and easy to play, with interesting hamster facts during loading. My favorite hamster is the sleepy blue one, come find your favorite!

An enjoyable Match 3 game with some good battles and puzzles. The platforming and ability to attack and mess with your opponent adds interesting elements as well. Plus the art and music is nice, there are hamster facts, along with a simple and sweet story.
