Bounty of Guns

New enemies invade the Shatter! Hunt down and dispatch these scoundrels with an expanded arsenal in Bounty of Guns, a free content expansion for Wizard with a Gun.

As you scour through the increasingly dangerous Shatter, pick up lucrative Bounties to earn special rewards. But beware, they come with increasingly difficult challenges. Your new foes move faster, hit harder, and possess special attacks. Defeat them to fulfill the Bounties, then claim your reward from the Bounty Mechana and unlock extraordinary new weapons.

An expanded arsenal of weapons awaits you in Bounty of Guns, with more than 50 new guns, including new weapon types such as a minigun, mortar, and a two-handed SMG, each with unique properties, powders, and uses. Store your newly acquired arms and show them off on Gun Mounts, a new piece of furniture for your Tower.

The Bounty of Guns update also introduces four new mini-bosses, each unique to their own biome, while Ambush Events randomly trigger as you explore the Overworld. Good luck, gunslingers. You'll need it.

While I love the art and concept. It just feels a little clunky and playing it kind of feels like a chore. The story is really kinda thrown at you and I had a bit of trouble understanding whats going on.

It's what you see on the lid man. You're a Wizard with a Gun, hell yeah. Well, more like an Alchemist with an Arsenal I guess. hell yeah regardless

its like a rogue like but instead of trying to survive and reseting on death, you mostly want to make it back out alive with whatever resources you gather inside the realm.

Takes some practice to get good, but a fun game, with a really pleasant soundtrack. Well worth it!

About 30mins into the game I assumed I was going to return it by the 2 hours. The controls just feel wrong, everything feel heavy and clunky. However, I continued to play for about 6.5 more hours before I gave up. I spent that whole 6 hours grinding to figure out and getting a level 5 ammo type to fight the level 4 bad guy. Welp that didn't help at all. I just spent 6 hours grinding for something than does a little more damage than I was doing already. So now I gotta grind for 6 more hours to get my Max HP up enough to take a few more hits? Nope, not doing that. If the controls didn't feel like they did and if the game didn't feel like it takes forever just to move 1/4 of the way through the map then maybe I would. But as it stands I'm uninstalling this game and won't be playing it again. Glad it was on sale.

A good game with one major stinging flaw, so much so that had I known this flaw, I wouldn't have bought it. TLDR; if your bullet isn't the appropriate level for the enemy tier, you are either forced to do significantly less damage or zero damage So many games are out there where you can use lower level gear to kill the enemies, sure it might be harder, but with proper skill its possible. This game slaps you away and tells you level up dork go smell the roses and come back when we tell you you're allowed to. So infuriating when this game isn't hard at all, it pads it out by forcing you down the path it wants you on essentially.

Great dual stick shooter with enough configurations to keep it interesting. Resource gathering is decent and doesn't weigh down the game. Can do runs in about 5-15 minutes which helps for short play times.

9mm is faster than fireballs, but a developer had the balls to ask the question "What about a 9mm made of fireballs"? It is remarkable how enjoyable this game is. Highly addicting, fantastic difficulty curve, the aesthetic of this game reminds me of a different era where artistic expression was a cornerstone of game design rather than just a footnote filled up by DLC-consooooooooooom-mooooooreeeee-slop-with-a-side-of-slop-and-a-nice-garnishment-of-slop-with-your-choice-of-liquid-slop that costs more than the base game to get a theoretical "complete" edition. There really isn't much bad to say about this game other than the 1st Edition scanning feels like an afterthought in an attempt to be more unique but it's more of an annoyance than anything. The story is a little lacking and only feels like it remembers it exists after every boss fight. Other than those 2 things, everything else is phenomenal. Looks great, plays great, flows great, the crafting and gun research kicks ass, co...
