King of Halloween is a political simulation game mixed with a dating simulator. A weird combination I know, but one that actually kinda works well. You play as Dr. Victor Frankenstein (the guy who made the monster, not the green guy with bolts in his neck) the newly elected Mayor of Halloween City, a type of City-State that is modeled around a bunch of Halloween tropes. It's got werewolves, vampires, mummies and witches. All it's missing is David S. Pumpkins hahahaha On to the review... Story & Writing A Visual Novel's strength lies in story mostly (though one can argue that art can be just as important) and I have to say that the story here is super creative. As I said earlier, the whole thing is Halloween-themed and borrows heavily from famous Halloween stories. They make a bunch of references to those stories and it's a delight to read if you are familiar with the works like "The Call of Cthulu", "Frankenstein", "Dracula" and "The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde". It's a nice game but unfortunately the action is a bit weak and the duration is very short. It is sad that there is no end to Draculina and one to harem with all 5.

A short VN with a decent enough art style and adult content. Each route takes under an hour, even if you're a slow reader and don't use the fast forward option. On the bright side, this definitely makes seeing the different endings much easier, as your choices have a more immediate impact, and generally speaking, there's a decent amount of variance in things. That being said, it's almost too short. As pretty much everyone points out, if you're here for the porn aspect, there's better options, both in terms of price (you can see boobies for free online, even fetishy monster boobies) and quality. The CG's are decent, but nothing mind-blowing. The story set up, however, is pretty novel. You actually might think a little bit when picking your choices, particularly when you're trying to achieve a certain route. For me, this is worth the low price, but your mileage may vary.
