Bonfire Peaks is a puzzle game about closure, by Corey Martin and published as well as co-produced by Draknek, creator of A Monster’s Expedition and Cosmic Express.

Navigate expertly designed puzzles in a breathtakingly lovely voxel-based world. Filler content has been burned away to create a perfectly fine-tuned experience, filled with richly rewarding challenges and surprising new mechanics that’ll keep sparking your interest right through to the end.

Created by Pipe Push Paradise and Hiding Spot developer Corey Martin, co-designed with Alan Hazelden, and with art by Mari Khaleghi and Zach Soares.

This game deserves 1,000,000 positive reviews. Such an excellent puzzler with a haunting sountrack. Looking forward to whatever they cook up next.

This game is a gem. A work of passion that surfaces in the attention to detail. I remember that one of the biggest difficulties in term of game design in the 1990s was the disruption caused by 3D graphics in terms of gameplay, and how give the player intuitive controls and mechanics. Bonfire Peaks is a 3D Sokoban, not literally, but in essence. This extra dimension would certainly make the original game way harder, but the level design in this game is so good that the added complexity isn't overwhelming. Extra levels sure are hard, but even when I looked up for solutions I never felt cheated. This game is an ode to craftsmanship in game design, in an era of soulless repetition of failed and out-of-place ideas.
