like: 8bit zx spectrum gfx. combat (accurate, unique & relatively easy. One-hit death for the regular monsters). dislike: very small world. money most useless. very tough final Boss. #^@&! bees. Score: 7/10. Nice little zeldish mini-game. Awaitng for a sequel! Beginner's tip: Always return to your hut to save your progress before dare venturing forth.

For full clarity: I did the steam trailer for this game but I still bought it on my own in 2021's Summer Steam Sale. Brother Brother is a unique experience as the game is able to get so much out of it's simple control scheme of WASD to move and Arrow keys to use your weapon, as the game goes on you unlock greater weapons and abilities that add to your versatility but still stays true to it's simple control scheme. I feel like Brother Brother's greatest strength is it's world, every area of the land is so densely populated that at no point do you feel like an area is filler or padding, each area has a purpose and a puzzle to it, whether self contained or hints to a grand scale puzzle that'll take you across the map to hunt powerful foes. For me at least, the game's weakest points are a few of the boss fights. These fights in particular are about dodging projectiles in a game with only one form of movement so it becomes easy to get beaten down quickly. I would easily recommend this g...
This game is all around amazing. It has a nice classic feel and is challenging. It also had a failed kickstarter, which I was disappointed by because it deserves all the support in the world. I also have high hopes for the next game this guy and his small team creates. 10/10, love it to bits.
I love this game. PLAY IT.
"Oh my god, not the bees!!!" Otherwise: Great Game for one sitting! <3 Play it! (@dev: thank you for shamelessly promoting the game being on sale on reddit. wouldn't have found it otherwise :-D)
Simple, yet addicting.
I really enjoyed my time in this game. A couple small, small bugs but other then that very solid. A retro trip back to OG Zelda. I found myself rejoicing over beating a dire wolf and the bosses are very challenging to me. Very good retro release here! Good Stuff.
It is a great action adventure game that rewards exploration. I really enjoyed it from start to finish, there's good music, a nice retro feel and fun, light hearted gameplay. I wish there was more of the game, and more lore and characters to talk to - the world has some hints of interesting story but it leaves you hungrier still. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend it.
good
A pleasant, sometimes challenging, adventurelike game with lots to explore and find. I enjoyed the colorful low-bit era graphics style, the simple twin-stick-with-buttons control scheme, and the great number of secrets, quests, and minigames. A lot of fun if you're looking for a quick game to jump into, and does well at remaining difficult even if you collect all the hearts. Creative and fun, with lots of soul. You really can't go wrong for the price at the amount of game inside. Steam says I only played 0.5hrs of the game, but I definitely played it all night once while my dog was sick. There's far more than 0.5hrs of playtime here.
