Lifeless Moon

Lifeless Moon is a short and visually attractive game without question, however, it feels like there is just something missing overall. Maybe it's the lack danger and death that was in the first title, Lifeless Planet. Lifeless Moon puts you at the centre of a mysterious Moon expedition. The story is a lot shorter than it's predecessor, Lifeless Plant (which I am still yet to finish)! However, I found them both to be very different. Lifeless Planet offers a longer, more immersive, and cohesive journey, while Lifeless Moon experiments with a different narrative style and gameplay. Soundtrack was great and definitely helped create an atmosphere in tense moments. I found the gameplay to not be as fun as Lifeless Planet, due to the lack of dangers and death scenarios which are missing. Despite this Lifeless Mon was still an enjoyable experience due to the art style and story direction, just a shame it was cut way too short. This is more than a simple indie game. This is an interactive film, with an excellent score, complex themes, stellar acting, and finely controlled tension. Absolutely worth every penny. Bonus--you do NOT need to have played Lifeless Planet in order to jump into this one (but you should if you haven't)!

Really good game. This was a really big upgrade on the first game - the graphics and music in this are really nice. The story is a lot more engaging as well, especially the ending, it's very well done. I really hope there's a third game in this series on the way because I think that it'll again have huge improvements with today's technology advancing as it is. Overall I like this game a lot.
