Its honestly so sad to me that good unique games like this get buried in an ocean of trash and become virtually indistinguishable from the garbage surrounding them. I found this game totally by accident searching for something else and almost wrote it off, I only bought it and gave it a try because its just $1 but knowing what it is now I would have paid at least $5 and it even plays perfectly on steamdeck. Gameplay and plot wise this feels like one of the old flash games you used to find back when that was a thing that surprises you with how fun and unique it is despite some jank and being obviously much "lower quality" than a lot of games you could play instead but it totally has the vibes of Maplestory and an aesthetic reminiscent of it somehow.
